Good Points: mmmmm, makes other airports look fun

Bad Points: the ridiculous distance to travel to get to some flights and the time taken is longer than allocated.
shops, bars, restaurants poor (for size of airport)
    experienced delays many times

General comments: Dublin Airport is an absolute joke!! - reminiscant of a warehouse, with poor sound quality, gates continually changing, terrible amount of delays. been there many a time and cringe at the thought of return, so much so i have spent 10 hours on a train to avoid the place.

I just flew in to Dublin Airport at what could arguably be described as the busiest weekend in Dublin's history. I was en-route to Guns 'n' Roses, and with Robbie Williams playing a different venue the same night, coupled with The Eagles and an international sporting match the following day, I did experience severe delays. The airport had put on extra flights to cope with the extra passengers to this great city, and the stresses on the airport were shown in delays on flights going in to Dublin. ...

Very stressful! Dublin airport is the last place you want to visit to start your holiday. The departure terminal was a nightmare to move in. Once past security, there is an average selection of shops (expensive), and there isn't much to buy if you don't want to buy Republic of Ireland flags and Leprechauns! The airport seemed very badly planned.

Dublin Airport is Quite good overall for its size- Good selection of food -McDonalds , O'Brien's and others but apart from those two the prices are scandalous - €7.50 for a full Irish breakfast and its only average.
Checking usually quite prompt. Car park charges €7 per day or €43 per week -usually takes 15 mins between parking and getting to check in.
Shops open usually 6am to midnight.

Transport into the city is only by bus or taxi and Dublin's traffic is notoriously stagnant. ...
