Good Points: They actively and courteously attempted to resolve issues with me - however, this lead to further issues.
Bad Points: Their website says that you can select particular day for delivery, but this was not so in my case. When tried to resolve it, they sent another box, so had 2 boxes here, and had to arrange for one to go back. Then they pursued me for having a double-delivery, because 'their system has to generate a way to track missing boxes'.
General comments: Finally, to be rid of them, I bought the second case - I made over 8 calls to them trying to sort it out. Although they actively tried to manage the issues, it didn't change the fact that wine didn't arrive, and I was left to continue dealing with them to try and sort it out. A truly unhappy, frustrating experience. I personally will not touch their service ever again.

It's worth trying the wine from Laithwaites Wines as it is good value for money.
I had 3 cases from them and decided to cancel my further orders as I wanted better wine. I found a £6 bottle of wine from The Wine Society was a better wine than a £6 bottle from Laithwaites.

I can only agree with the reviews of others. Laithwaites Wine Club offers a great selection of good wines, brilliant delivery service and good offers all the time. Apart from the wines you also get great other gifts, cheap or even for free. I got some tasting glasses recently, which are brilliant and really bring out a lot of aroma and flavour! Definitely recommended!

I love ordering wine from them (and not just for the pleasure of drinking it).
The staff at the end of the phone are always so helpful. They are polite, go out of their way to help and advise, and they really know their stuff. If you don't like a wine for any reason, call then, and they send you a replacement or credit the cost - no argument no fuss. Laithwaites (Formerly Bordeaux direct) have some great offers, including wine clubs and new customer offers.
All I can say is that they ...

If you work in the City of London, Laithwaites Wines have a tasting shop on Fenchurch Street, so you can try before you buy. If you order through the shop you can mix a case of any quantities of different wines, you're not forced to buy a case of each one you like. If you like Port, I can heartily recommend the Andressen unfiltered LBV. It's part of the same group as Sunday Times Wine club so they overlap on available wines. Shop staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Two Cabernet Sauvignons, from Laithwaites Wines, that are very hard to tell apart are La Maison Galhard from France and Las Casasde Vaqueria from Chile. At 5.42 The first a Vin De Pays D'oc is excellent and red from a very hot summer in France at 13%, very good value.
The other is a 2005 from the Maule Valley at 12.5% also very good value hard to tell apart both go together so can be drunk together as I did with no after effects.
Go on, get plastered on these two, it makes good sense. ...

I have been sent two excellent wines by Direct Wines from Laithwaites Wines. I got them by using my American Express points.
Castillo De Malvenda a gorgeous red wine full of exquisite taste and character. This is from a Spanish version of the Chatau Neufdupap and at £5.75 a bottle it is fantastic value for money. Extraordinary good value and 13.5%.
The second wine I want to tell you about is a silver medal winner, a Cavalcante Sangiovese (the grape also called Chianti) Di Toscana ...
