Good Points: It has four wheels

General comments: The Toyota Corolla 1.4 is the type of car you buy if a) You have more money than sense b) Your favorite colour is grey or c) The thought of even having a personality would scare you into an early grave. Yes it is dull non performing vehicle and in the quest for comfort it has totally wiped most if not all of the driving experience away.
Saying that it is the highest selling car worldwide and I wouldn't dispute the unrivaled safety features but the whole experience has been striped away and now it is like sitting in a supped up armchair. The car is advertised as doing in 0 to 60 in 12 seconds well after 7 weeks of ownership and over 2000 miles my car struggles to do 0 to 60 in 12 minutes so much so that a colleague actual said after a test drive of my car that I should take it back and ask for the rest of my engine.
Apart from the performance other problems I have found with this piece of tin shaped like a car is that when raining you can't have the window down for fresh air as the rain just pours straight in. The car stereo and sound is so poor that to even get to hear anything you have to have the volume on 45 and the sound is so flat and because it built in you can't change it. The car comes with AC as standard and even this is over rated as it uses so much power that when you turn it of on the motorway doing 70 your car quickly flies up to 80 This is not good for the more risky Corolla drivers.
The complaints just keep on coming next the dash when driving during the day the whole dash is light up but I know this is going to sound crazy driving my Corolla in the dark but when you turn the lights on the dash lights go off meaning it is more difficult to see essential tools such as the speed you are going. Also the petrol light comes on when the tank is down to its last quarter I mean it is not like I live in the outback and there is miles before the next filling station. The last complaint on the dash would have to be the car beeping if you have something sat on the passenger seat it will not go away until you put the seat belt in.
If you have actual got this far you must be wondering why I ever bought the car and that's the boot space It is of a good size I could of got a real car with a good sized boot.
Overall this car is good if you don't like driving and all you want to do is get from A to B with no real dramas if however your like me and believe that the journey is just as good as the destination avoid at all costs.
