Thank goodness I found this review site in time. Clearly I'm not alone in being SO disappointed by this company. I booked a viewing in advance to view a rental property, had a confirmation of the viewing on the phone and by email and the guy seemed fairly nice and pleasant. I turned up to the house with my housemates, we waited 30 minutes and the agent never showed up. No email, voicemail, text message - nothing to suggest there was a problem with the viewing. Time2Move are awful, and here's why: 1. Constantly arrange viewings with prospective buyers for the property I live in, at short notice, in violation of my contract. 2. Fail to turn up for said viewings, leaving prospective buyers hanging around outside my front door, ringing my doorbell. 3. “The best estate agent in London”

I have been greatly pleased by the estate agent Time2move as I have just sold my property for a great profit and in quick time.The manager and staff were extremely professional and the nicest people I had ever met. I can't speak from a tenant's point of view, only from a landlord's. They are without doubt *the* most unprofessional and singularly awful property agency that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They completely mismanaged the letting of my own property which left me exposed when I ran into difficulties with the tenant. They could not produce any of the required paperwork (that I was being asked for by my lawyer) though the agency had taken more than £1k in fees off me to let... (read more)

I am a tenant and have experienced the other end of their 'service'. They should be avoided at all costs. I will now engage the courts to seek compensation - perhaps a 'class action' should be taken against them.

As an unfortunate tenant, I am also on the other end of this stick. Awful to work with, entirely unprofessional and I have even received confidential emails meant for other tenants on a few occasions! Counting the days when I can get out of my contract with them...

As a tenant, I have also experienced the deceit and shocking unprofessionalism you will never experiencee elswhere. This outfit should be shut down or it's membership removed from all property letting/sales authorities/institutions. I pity any future clients who don't take heed of these comments or do not do their research into this fraudulant company.

T2M have been in a BBC documentary about corrupt Estate Agents see here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4826444.stm I nearly used them until a friend in a letting agency told me that they have the worst reputation in the business. Worst experience ever with a letting agency. I've applied on-line to view a property and I started receiving calls and e-mails 2-3 times a day for a month by people from the agency. When I thought they finally found a property I liked we agreed on the viewing and the agent didn't show up at all!! I called the local branch and one of the colleagues, very rudely, didn't even apologize for that but all he could told me was to wait there that someone would show up sooner or later. Of course,... Having sold my neighbours property, Time 2 Move seemed like the obvious choice. I bought my property prior to the 2007 crash and had an awful experience with another local estate agent having been gazumped and continually lied to, so I was cautious having to use an agent and wanted to use a reputable one. I have had the worst experience with this company. They agreed on a 7% commission on a 6 month rental. However,they did not pay me anything for a long time, and it was not the agreed amount. When I disputed this they told me I have to pay a minimum of £1000. They took off £1000 from money owed to me. Not to be recommended. The management are in this scam! (read more)

I had a very stressful experience with Time 2 Move. Please compare their assorted fees with other letting agents before you agree to anything. As indicated by another reviewer they are astronomical.
It is their policy not to draw up a contract until full deposit and a months rent in advance have been paid, so the terms of your contract and the astronomical renewal charges may come as a surprise to you.
Once you have paid your initial deposit to make your offer on the property the service...

They have paid in the rental from my managed tenancy on different dates of each consecutive month. Despite the tenant paying on the 1st I would get my rent on eg: Jan 2012 18th, Feb 22nd, March 19th, April, 27th almost a whole month late. They consistently play the blame game by saying its their accounts dept. not them. They also let out my property to a young family with children, when I expressly asked them not to. This has resulted in a whole host of running repairs as the flat is not large enough to house children. The latest is an electrical repair they undertook I have asked for the warranty on the part as per a high sum of money they have charged. I have been waiting 3 weeks, and still no response. They are Cowboys. Acting in their own interest, don't use them.

They have no sense of customer service and there lack of compassion and social skills are a JOKE!!!
The fact that all their staff are young and inexperienced is a problem but not as bad as the compulsive liar they have as a manager...
Now that is not even the real problem the astronomical fees they charge are amazing for the service they actually deliver.
I wanted to rent a flat from them and on seeing the flat and agreeing to go ahead...

Just like many others here, we had a particularly bad experience with this agent.
We had never used an agency before and were determined to try other solutions before, but were shown a flat we particularly liked and decided to go ahead without checking that much into their terms and conditions (big mistake from us), and paid the fee of intent of £300 on the same day.

We've had the worst Letting Agent experience with Time2Move. As prospective tenants and after paying a "fee of intent" for a house, things turned really unpleasant. T2M assured us on the phone (twice) that two proposed by us changes to their tenancy draft have been agreed with. We kept asking for a draft so we can have it checked-completely ignored our requests. Pleasantly surprised! Previous experience of agents was typical, but these guys really did earn their fee. Recommended a decent solicitor at a good price, kept me informed and dealt with my chain. Negotiators actually SOLD my flat to buyers on viewings rather than wandering around my flat like zombies!! Time2Move simply have no regard for tenant or landlord. I just thank god they're not managing the property. They charge at the top of the market for their "Admin fee" - a week's rent + VAT - yet very little admin went on. Previous tenants were buying so there was a 2 month lead-in, yet these guys had to be chased for any answers, and after speaking to our very reasonable landlord, it is obvious they didn't bother to contact him on several issues, but assured us OK. They are rubbish, I will never use them again. I have been the victim of their smooth talking and lack of process, they got me a tennant from hell, with doing a means test. They proceeded to move a family of four into a 1 bedroom apartment, this same family cannot pay the rent, and T2M, do not chase them up of return my call. I mean this they are bad and I will have my day in court, whereby I sue for the loss of income and damage to my investment.
