    I have used Inghams for three years now (Lake Garda, Lake Balaton and the Tatra Mountains). On each occasion I have been impressed by the locations of the hotels, the comfort of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff.

    There are two disadvantages that I have found: they tend to use the cheapest airlines (a little too much Ryaniar and Easyjet for my liking) and bookings seem to be half board and it is difficult to avoid buffet dinners - not pleasant, especially if there are lots of children in the hotel.

    Change of hotel in December after booking in August. No explanation other than original hotel fully booked. Either the hotel refused the booking at a late stage or Inghams tried to book it late.

    Poor food and room d cor in Hotel Elizabeth in Ischgl. This is a 4* hotel allegedly.

    We had a fantastic holiday with Inghams, and would definetely be going back to Levi and staying in the same accommodation.
    The accommodation at Levi Chalet was really good. The chalets were warm, clean, and homely. Really loved the fact that it came with it's own sauna. The accommodation was great apart from the mezzaine, which we did'nt need to use.

    Inghams have so far proved very unhelpful and I haven't travelled with them yet. I booked to go to Austria this year and they have now changed the flight to 5.30am, which means my young children will have to get up at 1.30am to make the flight. I did not book a flight this early. In fact paid a higher price to book a flight at a reasonable time. I only knew of this change when I received the tickets.     The hotel and food, accomodation, etc. were 2nd. to none. The chosen airline (first choice) was a total disaster. 3 hour delay on the out ward flight. On the return I paid a premium for extra legroom seats and was given one with a broken armrest STUCK TOGETHER WITH PARCEL TAPE. to add insult to injury the cabin staff then gave out the remainder of the extra leg room seats free of charge to other passengers.     I have been to Mayrhofen with Inghams several times staying at the Landhaus Roscher. This hotel is always very nice. This year the Inghams rep gave one of the best intro talks I have heard full of local knowledge with no pushing of excursions, but I am sure that people still bought them because they could trust his advice.

    Had a really well organized and beautiful holiday with Inghams in Slovenia. As a single person you did not get the good room but that is a universal problem. Both Hotels would not provide tap water in the Restaurants. Enough there to enjoy if and when you wanted it, recommended for the independent traveller. Would not hesitate to recommend Inghams to travel with.

    Transport delays are sadly the norm these days, but often local difficulties can be solved by an efficient local representative. They are increasingly crucial to a good holiday, but it appears from recent experience that they not able to meet even the basic needs. The hotels chosen by Inghams have usually been good, and staff have always been helpful and willing to help when asked. We await comments regarding our latest difficulties which will determine if we continue to use them again.

    We travelled with Inghams on the William tell Express tour in June/July 2008. We were met at every stage of the tour by smiling, helpful reps. Each stage of our trip, staying in 3 hotels, went extremely smoothly and our cases all arrived when expected having been transported by the Swiss rail system. Each resort rep was very helpful with regard to travelling around and what to do. None of them pushed their excursions and we were very impressed as this was our first trip with Inghams.

    Have never used Inghams before but definitely will again. Fantastic service rep met us at departure airport to make sure we were okay which I have never had before and at resort airport a rep was waiting there for us. He was very informative on journey to the hotel as well. Whilst in resort we had a really bad storm and rep even took the time to phone us to make sure that we was okay. On return had a nice e-mail saying hope we had a nice holiday.
    I must say I was very impressed!

    I thought they were really really good, there much better than the lager tour groups. I was really impressed. I have been on 4 Holidays with different tour groups and I think this on is the best. The customer services was great. The rep always asked how the holiday was going. The rep was easy to find. There weren't any bad points.

    Having paid, booked and after having our Ski holiday to La Plagne confirmed we were then told that our chalet in Plagne Village had been booked out previous to our booking and Inghams did not have an alternative accommodation for us. No apology was given.I would not use Inghams as they do not deliver holidays as detailed on the booking form.

    We have skied with Inghams for many years as we have previously always found them to offer good service and quality accommodation. We appreciate that these days luggage does go missing, however most people got their luggage Monday (2 day delay) and skis, boots but my wifes luggage did not arrive until Wednesday. All this on a skiing holiday where without your luggage you cannot ski and a nightmare for a lady staying in a 4 star hotel in the most exclusive resort in Austria with only the clothes ...

    On this flight to Innsbruck Inghams used First Choice. The late delivery of our clothing and boots meant that we had to buy and borrow expensive ski gear so we could actually participate in the sport we booked for. Why does it take 4 days to send luggage to Austria from Manchester when the flight is less than two hours! Also we found that few of our holiday insurances cover the full cost incurred. Inghams appear to have washed their hands of it and we are trying to claim from First Choice.

    Good points, we got to the resort in the end, the airline was helpful and flexible and helped resolve the mess Inghams left us in. Unresponsive to concerns voiced prior to travel, flights booked with impossible airport connection times, no help when stranded miles away due to missed connections, we missed 4 out of 6 flights, the rep claimed to have done things which blatantly had not been done.     We went on Inghams Taste of Austria break in the summer of 2005 with our son who was amost 2. Inghams took great care of us, placed us in a perfect guesthouse right on the town square in their best room with plenty of room and a bath for our little boy. We were able to watch evening entertainment in the town square from the guesthouse balcony as my little boy slept!     Reckless driving of coaches in transfers to and from Barcelona airport, and on one of the excursions,(same driver).
    Inghams area manager didn't show interest when confronted about it.

    We travelled to Wengen in July and had the above mentioned problems with Inghams on the outward leg. We had to buy our own tickets, carry our own bags on and off 3 trains on a 4 hour journey - basically organise our own transfer to the Hotel Caprice. The next morning the local rep couldn't have cared less.     We would use Inghams Tour Operators again, as everything was so straight forward and exactly as expected!!
