Had mine for five years and had trouble free use for the first two and a half years until the frame snapped. I contacted Powakaddy who arranged for it to be repaired free of charge. Had two batteries in five years and no other faults at all. Strong, sturdy and cheap. All in all an excellent buy. (read more)

My first electric trolley has put me off buying another Powakaddy product. I never know whether it is going to work when I get to the course and when it is likely to pack up during my round. I have had battery problems, switch problems and cable connection failures. I bought a Powakaddy as I thought they were a good manufacturer - whata mistaka to maka! (read more)

This powacaddy model lasted a mere 2 years. First there were problems with the battery connector which failed and had to be replaced. Next switch problems and finally the main frame snapped at the point where the wiring from the battery to the handle comes out of the main tube.
The first and last problem seem to be design faults.

This trolly should never have been put out in the market place.
If my spelling was better, i would write pages on why NOT to buy a Powacaddy.

Used for six rounds, then required £85 REPAIR!On several ocassions I have had to push it to complete my round of golf. This is not the reliability expected from a brand such as this. The trolley is easy on the eye but disappoints in regular use.I am always apprehensive when I take it to the golf course. I bought the Powakaddy Highway in May 2007 for circa £300. Since then I have paid over £80 for 2 repairs and have regulary had to push it around the course.
Today it works intermittantly and no doubt requires a new battery, the front wheel structure locates with difficulty now and the main frame joints are deteriorating.
Not a good advert for Powakaddy and does not inspire confidence for a piece of kit that should last for at least 5 years.
Do the right thing Powakaddy and offer to part...

My Powacaddy Highway has broke my heart from day 1. Faults include poor battery connections, faulty clutch assemblies and regular breakdowns on the golf course. The agent keeps telling me there is nothing wrong with it. He deserves a medal for he can say it with straight face! (read more)

I really don't think this product is fit for purpose..... as Lady Captain... it is really not good to have to push a broken heavy trolley around the rest of the course! (read more)
