Very poor materials used in the construction of my POWACADDY cart bag which after just 2 years of only average use ( I had been in hospital with heart problems for much of the time) collapsed. The spinebuckled and would not then stand up or more importantly on my Powacaddy freeway. I notified them of my problem and they blandly said that it was out of warranty so they were not interested and it was just hard luck. The fact that it was clearly not fit for purpose, had been assembled is such a way that it would fail did not seem to mean anything to them. I write this as a warning to others about the attitude and crass unhelpfulness of this company whom I had always thought to be a responsible and fairminded organisation. I SHALL NOT BUY AGAIN POWACADDY

Had mine for five years and had trouble free use for the first two and a half years until the frame snapped. I contacted Powakaddy who arranged for it to be repaired free of charge. Had two batteries in five years and no other faults at all. Strong, sturdy and cheap. All in all an excellent buy.

My first electric trolley has put me off buying another Powakaddy product. I never know whether it is going to work when I get to the course and when it is likely to pack up during my round. I have had battery problems, switch problems and cable connection failures. I bought a Powakaddy as I thought they were a good manufacturer - whata mistaka to maka!

This powacaddy model lasted a mere 2 years. First there were problems with the battery connector which failed and had to be replaced. Next switch problems and finally the main frame snapped at the point where the wiring from the battery to the handle comes out of the main tube.
The first and last problem seem to be design faults.

The Powakaddy Highway is lightweight and easy to lift but thats were it stops .

My Powacaddy Highway has broke my heart from day 1. Faults include poor battery connections, faulty clutch assemblies and regular breakdowns on the golf course. The agent keeps telling me there is nothing wrong with it. He deserves a medal for he can say it with straight face!

Please anyone with the same fault on the Powakaddy range post on here as Powakaddy refuse to admit there is a design fault.
