    If i could swear on here then make no mistake about it i would. If i could meet some of the people i have spoken to on the phone i would not get tired of slapping them. This company is the worst thing to ever happen to us. They should be taken to court for fraud because that is exactly how they operate. Im over the moon they have stopped car finance because i have a car from there and from the moment i driven it off the forecourt it had problems. After a year ( yes a full year ) of arguements i had to pay for it myself. No matter how bad thing are financially never ever go to these people. Does anyone know the situation regarding, i cant be arsed to pay for my car anymore and how to go about taking it back now the car side of the company don't exist ???

    Hi Just want to warn any one is looking to any sort of loans from welcome finance,, everything is lie about this company,, bought ford focus 2005 with 48000 milage with insurance on any mechanical problem paid for 12 month and car broken and the company is refusing to fix the problem,,, i wish and wonder from the god so this people can be out of business,, avoid avoid real experiance

    bought a 2002 52 plate fiesta in april 2008 with Welcome Car Finanace had to stay in the newport branch for 6 hours due to paperwork etc. the car i wanted i could not have cos they lost the log book. car is great tho even though its costing 8000 quid over 4 years.

    Welcome Car Finance- probably the most incompetant company one could be associated with. Bought a Mondeo off them, supposed to come with a full aa insoection- rubbish. The windows didnt work, the timing chain snapped and had to have literally a new engine replaced. The interest is astronomical, the people who work for them are brain dead and have not got a clue what the are doing.
    Suprise, suprise, welcome ahve pulled the plug on car finance- even after a successful 2009- yeah right doesnt soun ...

    Have had a ford fiesta for nealy 3 years, have paid near on £8,000 for a 53 plate!! What a rip off!! have tried to take car back and oh looky.. they have had the plug pulled by cattles!!!! Welcome CAR Finance is no more!! But, I had a accident on 5th Sept my car is wrote off, but I will loose EVERYTHING as they say we still owe 4,000 on the car.     Is the a massive rip off..... got 05 scenic in April 2005.... was delivered with battered paint work which they blamed on me despite me not moving vehicle so decided to take them up on the 2 week return policy... They ignored this and despite phone calls and e-mails for the last year and a bit I have received NO response.... I have continued to pay £256 per month to British Credit Trust who Welcome Car Finance arranged finance with with as my problem is not with them!! The car was purchase ...

    Welcome Car Finance dont live up to their name, the should be called (unapproachable car credit ) I think you can tell I regret going there. They charged 25.00 for 2 calls they did not have to make and 10.000 for 3 letters they did not have to write but that didnt matter they still added the money to my payments. Please learn from my mistakes. I would of liked to know all the hidden extras and the really unhelpful staff before.

    i had nearly paid for my car and asked if the last few payment could be made smaller,they did this,my hubby signed paper work and it worked out that we then owed Welcome Car Finance 13,000 again just because we ammended the bloody payments!!!!!!!!they have been after the money ever since and this was 2 years ago.
    They will never recieve another payment from me and anyone thinking of going with this company....DONT
    the customer service is a joke and the staff are rude and pushy

    Welcome Car Finance didnt have any of the cars paper work and gave the wrong advice when leaving the show room as well as the insurance covers that i took out to cover breakdown etc

    welcome car finance is an absoloute joke i went to maidstone one they put you on so much pressure on buyin a car and they make out there doing you a massive favour by saying your credit rating wil raise really quickly and that in 12 months come backand your credit rating will allow you a better rate then you can get a bmw or etc but anyway i have had it for 15 months its an 04 astra i still owe 8500 pounds and i pay 228 pounds a month its a joke and to be honest i actually hate them

    I brought a ford fiesta style from Welcome Car Finance in 2008 was already 2 years old with good miliage, however the sales guys were very pushy. i tried to not go ahead with the forms however i was told because i had already agreed verbally the credit control team and the sales guys said it was a deal.     got a nissan primera 52 plate about 2 years ago within the first year i needed to get new brakes & a new timing chain. I have just put it in the garage now to be told i will probably need a new engine. My wife being self employed we were for 2 months struggling to make the payments i asked Welcome Car Finance if we could split two payments over the remainding of the contract to which they said no, they then proceeded to hound me at least 3 times a day for payment which they knew i could not pay. ...

    having no credit history i applied for a Welcome Car Finance loan, got one. I then waited 6 days for car to be delivered found the bonnet would not open- made calls and was told to take it to ilford.
    Then was told to get it back, then was told someone would collect it. Now car has gone missing and noone knows where... i will cancel credit agreement and let them deal with it even if it means going to court.

    Welcome Car Finance, wot a load of bull****..never ever buy a car from here! renault scenic 54 plate 20k on the clock, been working for 7months! sat outside for 2 months whilst waiting for repairs for dashboard as i refused to drive it due to no speedo or anything...illegal for a start! now it refuses to start, will not go or do naff all, cancelling direct debit payment and they can sort it out...i'll even go to court.

    Having had a poor credit history,and my other car sold as scrap. i wanted a more modern vehicle so I contacted my local branch. Although made perfectly welcome by the sales staff I was told that my Welcome Car Finance loan had been approved,but not how much I could borrow.After finally seeing 4 vehicles of the type i was looking for a sale was agreed.With the added extras,which i was not told about,some of which i didnt want and after lengthy talks i got what i wanted.Finance papers were signed ...

    Went to the Luton branch of Welcome Car Finance. At first we couldn't find it as the postcode they sent us was wrong. On arrival noticed that there was about 25 cars when I had been told on the phone there were 60. The showroom smelt horrible of cheap disinfectant and we were greeted by a scruffy salesman. After asking what type of car I wanted he came back with 4 sets of keys for cars that 'matched'. They discourage you from looking at the cars and choosing yourself. All of the cars were dirt ...

    The general issue is do not buy a car from Welcome Finance or the likes. You are better of saving your money for a couple of months and buying what your money can afford. ie you could easily buy a little run around for under 1000 gbp.The main problem, is that people do not read a review before they visit their showrooms, they only visit reviews, once they have been stung !!!!

    I read all the reviews about Welcome car finance before I made the decision to check them out myself. I went to the Liverpool branch with an open mind and my eyes wide open and boy was I surprised.
    Myself and my husband were greeted by a friendly salesman called, he asked if we wanted a drink and sat us down in the waiting room.     Well I bougth a car at there Fareham branch of Welcome Car Finance and must admit I am pleased. I was very vary about it as the reviews are not good at all. Face it. People who go to Welcome haven't got a choice really, so if you do need a car....... The choice of cars is good, my salesperson was friendly and very helpfull. The car prices about a grand over market value and the apr set at 19%. You pay more but they give you a car. Well the insurance offered are crap and don't go for it. I never ...

    never again... i would not wish Welcome finance on my worst enemy!

    i have had nothing but problems from day 1 of my vehicle hire purchase agreement, i am currently voluntarily terminating my agreement, i have had it up to here.
