    Bad Points: They are untrustworthy and would never recommend them to anyone

    General comments: Welcome Car Finance didnt have any of the cars paper work and gave the wrong advice when leaving the show room as well as the insurance covers that i took out to cover breakdown etc

    I brought a ford fiesta style from Welcome Car Finance in 2008 was already 2 years old with good miliage, however the sales guys were very pushy. i tried to not go ahead with the forms however i was told because i had already agreed verbally the credit control team and the sales guys said it was a deal.     got a nissan primera 52 plate about 2 years ago within the first year i needed to get new brakes & a new timing chain. I have just put it in the garage now to be told i will probably need a new engine. My wife being self employed we were for 2 months struggling to make the payments i asked Welcome Car Finance if we could split two payments over the remainding of the contract to which they said no, they then proceeded to hound me at least 3 times a day for payment which they knew i could not pay. ...

    having no credit history i applied for a Welcome Car Finance loan, got one. I then waited 6 days for car to be delivered found the bonnet would not open- made calls and was told to take it to ilford. Then was told to get it back, then was told someone would collect it. Now car has gone missing and noone knows where... i will cancel credit agreement and let them deal with it even if it means going to court.

    Welcome Car Finance, wot a load of bull****..never ever buy a car from here! renault scenic 54 plate 20k on the clock, been working for 7months! sat outside for 2 months whilst waiting for repairs for dashboard as i refused to drive it due to no speedo or anything...illegal for a start! now it refuses to start, will not go or do naff all, cancelling direct debit payment and they can sort it out...i'll even go to court.

    Having had a poor credit history,and my other car sold as scrap. i wanted a more modern vehicle so I contacted my local branch.     Went to the Luton branch of Welcome Car Finance. At first we couldn't find it as the postcode they sent us was wrong. On arrival noticed that there was about 25 cars when I had been told on the phone there were 60. The showroom smelt horrible of cheap disinfectant and we were greeted by a scruffy salesman.     The general issue is do not buy a car from Welcome Finance or the likes. You are better of saving your money for a couple of months and buying what your money can afford. ie you could easily buy a little run around for under 1000 gbp.The main problem, is that people do not read a review before they visit their showrooms, they only visit reviews, once they have been stung !!!!

    I read all the reviews about Welcome car finance before I made the decision to check them out myself. I went to the Liverpool branch with an open mind and my eyes wide open and boy was I surprised. Myself and my husband were greeted by a friendly salesman called, he asked if we wanted a drink and sat us down in the waiting room.     Well I bougth a car at there Fareham branch of Welcome Car Finance and must admit I am pleased. I was very vary about it as the reviews are not good at all. Face it. People who go to Welcome haven't got a choice really, so if you do need a car....... The choice of cars is good, my salesperson was friendly and very helpfull.     never again... i would not wish Welcome finance on my worst enemy! i have had nothing but problems from day 1 of my vehicle hire purchase agreement, i am currently voluntarily terminating my agreement, i have had it up to here.

    very helpfull and speed getting clearance. but then that is it. our car came from ucan in peterborough. it was promised with 6 months tax and full service. we got no tax and 4 month left on mot. when complained was given cold shoulder, not interested. car was in garage 3 times in 2 weeks. car came from a garage in luton. not cleaned, had paint on seatbelt and steering wheel and around inside of car. still cant get paint off steering wheel.have spent money getting car up to scratch. was given a c ...

    I bought a fiat punto 04 plate from Welcome Car Finance 2 years ago and shortly after the purchase I started to discover small faults with the car. Window wiper rack broke then the hinge in the door broke which still isn't right till this day. The air filter latch broke off during a service which to be fair could have been down to the guys servicing it. The exhaust went within weeks of purchase.     Welcome Car Finance, Very good when trying to contact you, call you back when they say, call you to confirm your still coming, bringing paper work and so on. In my experience, from day one, the car had faults, they just don't appear to want to know, won't even call back However, I would never use Welcome Car Finance ever again and don't recommend them to anyone else. At first through the first process they were very good, always called when they said they would etc. How ever when i arrived at the Maidstone centre, i found myself in a situation that i felt unable to get out of.     I thought the customer service we recieved at the Bristol branch was pretty good. However, when they booked us an appointment to go and see the showroom they did not tell us that if we wanted to purchase,we needed to bring a deposit with us.     We went to Welcome car finance two years ago and got a Megane, we had no real problems and were happy with the repayments, we told them what we could afford - last september we went for an upgrade, got a lovely SAAB which two weeks before Christmas was stolen - so all insurances in place you would think it would be easy, NO the gap insurance paid up - our insurance has a cheque waiting to pay Welcome and lo and behold the car wasn't on the HPI register - over 30 phone calls to insurance companie ...

    This is the second vehicle I have had with Welcome Finance I also has warranty and to be honest its not worth the paper its written on. Some staff promise you the world and make you travel to the end of the earth to look at vehicles which you don't want then they try to talk you into settling with whatever they have in stock.     I have recently bought a car from Welcome Car Finance Wakefield Branch. I thought the service I received was excellent I have no complaints at all. I got the car I wanted and the finance package I was after. I am now driving around in a better newer car. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
