Good Points: Unit seems fairly robust, good screen, loud enough
Bad Points: Unable to add POIs for Speed Cameras etc, Awkward part post code then street address then house number search. Unable to use with AA or AAA batteries so was unable to use it on my motorbike or on foot for very long. Maps are a good 2 years + out of date.
General comments: I bought this for £99.97 from Tesco and took it home to gave it a try. It didn't recognise my home address or estate which wasn't a good start, well the estate is fairly new but over 2 years old. The main problem though is the fact that you can't add any POIs which is a big part of owning one of these units for me. I could live with the awkward search system if it always found the road you wanted. It was unable to find 2 out of the 5 addresses I tried, and these are roads established for over 30 years. The fact that you can't pop in some rechargeable batteries for use on foot or a motorbike is a shame. With these features lacking I returned the unit for a refund. Yes it was cheap but I would rather pay a little more and have all the features I want than make do, £100 is a lot of money to just make do with anything.
