Good Points: Speed cameras
Bad Points: Speeding alert only works properly when set to kph and not mph, maps of UK mainland street level good, the street level maps of Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland are rubbish even with full European upgrade.
General comments: I bought this Mitac Mio C210 devise as it came with full UK and Ireland street level maps, not so UK mainland good. Northern and Southern Ireland were rubbish even when upgraded to full European street level maps. The centre of Belfast and Dublin are good, the outskirts and the rest of the country are restricted to A and B roads only. The rest of Europe are very good, even street level maps of the back of beyond in all of the other 18 countries, having travelled Europe extensively I know. The unit itself is good apart from the mph function, for the speed setting tells you you are speeding at 20mph in a 30 mph limit, even when given a margin of + 5 mph, but does work perfectly when set at kph. I live in Belfast and would not recommend the Mio V3 software to anyone living here, it's rubbish, however the unit is good if you live or are travelling in Europe.
