I rode horses when I was younger so when my 6 year old daughter showed an interest decided to take her along for one of their beginner walk outs. My daughter love animals and was very excited when she got on Rusty - but as soon as he shook his head she cried and wanted to get off - the staff were FANTASTIC especially the young girl who was leading her, Hayley. They calmed her down and did not give up (checking with me that it was ok to do this of course) Megan has now been going for around 6 weeks and really enjoys it - horses well looked after, staff brilliant, body armour provided, my daughter is already planning her birthday party there for next April! I also found out they do 1-2-1 adult lessons and will be giving them a try myself - will report back on this when I have been a few times. If you are thinking of trying a riding school try this one you will not be disappointed!

I think Reddish vale Farm is a great place for begginers as you are on walkouts for a long time. You get to go on a different route each time. I hardly went in the menage, which is a downside for me. The lessons were quite rushed in my opinion but the horses are well looked after. After 5 months, i decided to mover to a different stables as i have started riding in my teens and want to catch up. I have learnt lots more at the new stables. I thought some of the leaders were unkind and not helpful ...- Read Guest's review (140 words)

I have been riding at Reddish Vale for about 6 months, all the staff there are very friendly and helpful, all the horses here are very happy, well looked after and clean. I think reddish vale farm riding school in Stockport is just amazing!!!! I love going there for my lessons and so does my daughter. The staff are friendly, and the horses are very well looked after, you only have to look at them and judge for yourself - they look happy and contented. They have nice clean stables that are mucked out everyday and skipped out continually throughout the day - not run down shacks. You never hear of one of the horses having thrush from standing in dirty bedding so ...- Read Guest's review (155 words)

My daughter and I have been riding at reddish vale farm for around 4 years now. I had tryed every riding school in stockport and was not happy with either the instruction or how the horses were being treated.
My daughter was 7 when we first attended and started on walkouts. She was on walkouts for about a year. She learnt all the basics and really enjoyed the different routes every week. I feel that the walkouts have made her a much better rider as nothing has been rushed, she has learnt to bala ...- Read Guest's review (371 words)

Today i thought i would take some time to write a review on my son's birthday party at Reddish Vale Farm. My son is only six years old and desperately wanted to ride a pony for his birthday. On ringing the stables I was imediately filled with confidence and felt completely reassured that his expectations and my stresses of organizing a group of children would be of no problem whatsoever to the staff of R.V.F. On saturday I was greeted by a very helpful young lady and from that moment on the ...- Read Guest's review (129 words)

I have ridden at Reddish Vale for several years now and i have been extremely pleased with the high standard which they have, all of their horses are turned out to an amazing level and there is no faults i can pick out. All of their instructors have passed their BHS stage 1 and i am hugely satisfied with how well they can handle horses and their one to one approach with lessons, Reddish Vale also hosts a brilliant stable management course which covers all of the key parts of equine care and have ...- Read Guest's review (186 words)

I can only describe these stables in one word and its AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!Reddish vale riding stables is the perfect place for any kind of rider, they have walk outs for the beginners so they can learn the basics and a menage for the more experienced riders although they do have a rota that every five weeks the menage riders go on a hack and the walk out riders get a chance to see what it is like in the menage and hopefully after that work hard so they can get into the menage. I have been riding ...- Read xoxhorsesxox's review (131 words)

Reddish Vale has been the best one by far, all the horses are very well looked after and the farm is very well managed and maintaned. All the staff are pleasent and helpful and will chat to you and your children no matter how busy they are. I would strongly recommend this riding school and working farm to anyone with young children looking to start riding or who simply just w ...- Read lcd horse's review (97 words)

I have been attending Reddish vale farm for riding lessons for 2 years. All throughout this period of time I have felt safe in the hands of the leaders. I like the way that the girls help you understand exactly what to do if the horse misbehaves. I think reddish vale is a great school and I would recommend it to anyone because It is suitable for all ages.- Read Guest's review (68 words)

Reddish Vale Farm is thee best farm. I have been to mnay farms and this one is better by far. The horses and animals on the animal farm get well treated. When my daughter started walkouts she was so excited for Saturdays to go and see the horses and too have her lesson. The staff there are very patient and understanding considering her learning disabilities. She has learnt so much and is hoping to get her own horse when she is older. The things they run are amazing e.g. stable management, the cl ...- Read Guest's review (143 words)
