I haven't used my nomi card for a while, but when I did it didn't work.
Can't get through to nomi on any of their numbers. Emails can't be delivered.
Have they gone bust.

Nomi-Call international phone cards, you pay £20.00 phone card you phone the freephone number on the back and type in your pin number every time you make a call, so everytime you make a call you are told how many minutes are left and how much money is left on the card, you think you are only being charged with whatever amount is left on your card but you are also being charged by whichever phone company you are using so you are actually being charged twice more than double for your phone ...- Read Guest's review (111 words)

Nomi-Call will give you a rate of 5p /minute on their brochures then their website would give you a different rate in their rate list which is 9p /min. Their telephone teriff check would tell you the cost at 9.5p/min.
In reality they'll charge you 15.5p/min if youre using their 0800 free access number.- Read Guest's review (55 words)

I found Nomi Phone quite good up until their recent migration, On the downside, their top-up service through their website was rather unreliable but on the upside, I usually got a reasonably good line and their rates were reasonable.
Since their migration, however, I can almost never get a line at all - every time I try to make a call, I get a message saying "the other person has cleared" and the connection has dropped. In the space of about 20 attempts, I have had a successful connection twic ...- Read Guest's review (137 words)

Disillusioned and unhappy with Nomi-Call - I've closed my account with them and am looking for an alternative service provider.
No choice in whether to migrate to the mobile opbion or not. Auto top up doesn't work. My card details would not be accepted online and to have to call customer support at 15p a minute for something which is their fault is ridiculous. In addition, the customer rep got all of my details wrong during the migration so I have no confidence that this time will be any differ ...- Read kazt's review (166 words)

Your online account is practically inaccessible. You can't auto top up. Now, their rates are competitive (quite expensive).- Read stevewankman's review (38 words)

I made the mistake of buying a nomi-call mobile top up card instead of a nomicall africa card. I tried to get it swapped around but no-one could do it. Considering that i had bought this card 150 miles away from were i lived i was advised by your customer service to go back and get the card swapped. I also addressed the fact that it would cost me £100 to go back for a £10card. they could not would not let me talk to the supervisor either. I would like to say I am very disappointe ...- Read Guest's review (113 words)

I have used these cards for over a year now, and recently noticed that diminishing balances were grossly out of proportion to actual usage, so I started to monitor. After many instances where my balance was being reduced without my using the card, and charges were far higher than advertised, I found that
1. There is a standard deduction of 10p per day even if the card is not used.
2. The Freephone connection is not free, but actual rates of charge for its use are not readily available.
3. ...- Read j cooney's review (217 words)

I bought a phone card the other day for £5.50. I always use 020 num as I always call from my mobile as I got free mins, I dial my destination no, and it says I had 325 mins, then after about 40 mins, it cut off and says I have only 2 pence left. I was annoyed and used my mob as I don't have landline yet to call customer services. They put me in a queue and ask me to wait. I kept waiting for about 8 mins. Still nothing as far as I am aware, I was angry, tried again, same thing. I ended up ...- Read mattjue's review (319 words)

Pricing is very misleading, despite claims of 'no hidden costs, no connection fee, per second billing etc, they don't tell you of the 20p per min 0800 access fee.
Their 'promotions' of 'free' calls to any given country that changes monthly are also misleading as you CANNOT call mobiles in that country. Non geographical numbers even though they are landlines in that country will also not count as 'free'. So, calling a number that would be the equivalent of a UK 0845 number is charged at the st ...- Read user44's review (398 words)

Voki International phonecard. £5 from Nomi-Call.
It is the brownish one with "International phonecard" on top left hand corner, "£5" on top right corner and "Voki" on bottom right hand corner. Also,
Telephone handset symbol on reverse.
Small print on the back reads "Credit Voucher - Issued by Nomi-call" among other disclaimer notes. Also "Service provided by Global Nomi ..." followed by other words in Portuguese. Confused already? You should be! No wonder the thing did not w ...- Read professor's review (621 words)
