“fake cheating people”

Written on: 09/04/2013

UK National lottery is computerised and the missing numbers are taken out as jackpot, normally mathematics probability shows the number of jackpot winners should be 5 to 10 in each play. Most of the time the jackpot is not drawn, the lottery should be done immediately after the time of buying the last ticket, why they need time to do the lottery. (read more)

“Great website for the national lottery”

Written on: 13/01/2013 by jan2013new (12 reviews written)

It is easy to set-up an online account with the national lottery and I can limit my spending so that I don't overspend. I think it is so much easier and quicker to choose, select and play national lottery games online compared to at a store where I have to queue for ages sometimes. I recommend the national lottery online website. (read more)

“Customer service is diabolical”

Written on: 31/12/2012

Account suspended as I had tried to credit monies to my account and it timed me out on the third attempt... Crazy!! Have been trying to get hold of a National Lottery advisor for past hour but their lines are extremely busy, so please call back later. Camelot, why don't you simply man your phones with adequate staff with all the money you glean from us? I did get through to someone earlier (Jack Shroeder) who promised to call back after me having to spell my name a billion and one times! ... (read more)

The whole setup is a sham. I was away from my desk for 10 minutes in the middle of a HANGMAN game. I played the game and won £4(£3 + £1) and certain letters were uncovered. When i finished the game, i got a message that the session had expired. So I logged in back again and played the same game and uncovered exactly the same tiles and won the same amount!!!!!! This isnt co-incidence. It's cheating! National Lottery is a cheat! (read more)

The National Lottery website is diabolical. They need to catch up with the rest of the world when it comes to ease of use, navigation, user friendliness. They make it impossible to set up and manage an account online.

First, their password system is a joke. I tried to set up an account but it would not accept ANY password I tried to enter. Capital letters, numbers, names with numbers, places with numbers, it just wouldn't work.

I rang them after several frustrating hours and they... (read more)

Absolutely agree.

Even when we had an account it was quicker to go to the shop than sign in as a registered returning user.

Is that what they want, to keep the shopkeepers and stores on side by making the web site user unfriendly and as difficult to operate as possible?

If we buy on line, it doesn't give the shops their cut and it stops you wandering around to buy their products.

Without the shops supporting Camelot, I guess Branson would have got the lottery and much more of our £1 would have gone to charitable causes!!

There is no UK mafia by the way.... just the usual corrupt decision making!!

I've been playing the National Lottery online now for about 3 years. The site itself is very easy to navigate, and you can easily find the games you want to play.

I generally just do the lucky dip option, couple of clicks and my ticket is purchased. I particularly like the way you get sent an email to tell you if you have won anything. Before I had to remember where I had put the ticket, usually scrunched up in my wallet!

You have your own account setup, which you can top up or even... (read more)

I found this review helpful because it explains the basics of the site, however, it doesn't go into detail about account setup, or hw fast it sends out notification emails.

How often have you actually won any games? It's a joke to me, better to get a physical scratch card.

We Spend a lot of our time in Spain, so renew my National Lottery numbers while i am there, we have been told that of i renew on my numbers on my Spanish computer and win a large amount that we can not claim it. I am a British retired person with a British passport, British driving licence, English bank account.
We have done the lottery since it started, and do the same numbers each week, so why are we penalised for being retired and enjoying our time in Spain. There are a lot of people here... (read more)

Hi, is anyone interested in joining the lottery syndicate. I have ordered a form. I need at least 5-10 people. If you are interested i will post the form to you so you can include your name before i submit it to national lottery office.

I will be managing the team and the deputy manager can be any of you guys. There is no cheating in this at all as the syndicate agreement form will be signed by all before submitting to the National lottery office. If you stay in the UK we can all make up time to meet.
