Good Points: A place to off load unwanted goods

Bad Points: Things it sells have tended to break down in my experience and their provenance can be a little murky I have found.

General comments: I do not recommend Cash Convertors, although obviously there will be differences between various branches.

My local store (Aberdeen) offers bare minimum prices for any goods I take in to sell I feel, even if it is still brand new and boxed. I seem to always get asked how much I want for an item just to see if I a) know what it is worth and b) are prepared to sell it for less than they would normally offer in my opinion. When I gave them a price they went away and talked to the manager to see if they can get my price. They have not yet met it. Always offered me less I feel, sometimes considerably less depending on how much they think they can get away with. In my experience selling online via Amazon, Ebay or Gumtree is much more rewarding.

As for buying their DVD's and CD's are cheaply priced but I'd avoid any larger electrical items due to the warranty.

So you might be able to bag a bargain, as long as you don't worry where the stuff is coming from but your not going to make much from selling anything here I feel due to my experience.
