Good Points: It's G'N'R - that is the ultimate good point!

Bad Points: We had a long wait until G'N'R came onto the stage, which was a bit disappointing, and I am sure it disheartened some of the fans.

General comments: From the moment that G'N'R came onto the stage they were fantastic. Opening with an explosive Welcome to the Jungle. Okay, I know that it isn't the original G'N'R, but over time I have come to the conclusion that Axl is Guns N' Roses, and he proved it at the MEN! His performance and voice is ace! He still is a showman, though he has tamed it a little.

The songs were fantastic; a lot of the favorites were performed, and I do not see what else the original line up could have added to the show. Axl does seem a little more laid back than he used to be though, as there were a few problems with his microphone, and whereas once he would have thrown the rattle out of the pram and left the stage, he just pulled some faces and continued with the performance.

There were a few guitar sequences that some of the crowd looked to be growing bored with, but both myself and my husband still enjoyed them.

Overall, it was a great concert, and probably one of my favorites of all time. This was probably due to the fact though, that we have tried on several occasions to see G'N'R, and either due to show cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances, we have been unable to go - so maybe due to this, I was just so pleased to see them that I have put them on a pedestal!

If they tour again, will I go? YES! I would love it. Although it would be better if they were to play at a smaller venue, as I do not like the MEN for music. I only agreed to go because it was Guns N' Roses.

I'm a big Guns and Roses fan and had been looking forward to this gig since the tour was announced. I have to say that it was a good gig but it could have been better. The band were late to take to the stage, it must have been at least an hour after the support band. They played a lot of their classic songs (Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child Of Mine, November Rain, etc.) and the performance was flawless but the solo spots were a bit tedious and there was lots of jamming in between the songs whi ...
