Good Points: John Lewis is still a proper department store selling a wide variety of goods including furniture and electrical goods and PC's. The PC's come with a 2 year standard guarantee and the TV's 5 year standard guarantee The staff are knowledgable on the product range and provide a good service The goods are keenly priced You can use your John Lewis card and still get a good store rate on an interest free basis if you clear the balance within a month
Bad Points: There are not enough John Lewis's
General comments: John Lewis is part of the John Lewis partnerhip with 27 stores in the UK and quite a few more to open in major regional shopping centres in the next few years.
John Lewis is unique in being owned by the staff that work for the organisation and this enables them to offer the customer an excellent level of customer service
John Lewis also own the upmarket Waitrose Supermarket which sells food and competes quite keenly with the major supermarket chains, and M and S food
I have no hesitation in recommending John Lewis as a place to shop - I love it and always find what I want there!
