    My 10 month old washing machine is on it's 2nd breakdown. I have been disapointed with the level of service and lack of action by John Lewis. The call centre staff are "lovely" on the phone but nothing comes of it! Very disappointing and does not live up to the good service image they portray.

    I ordered express delivery of a Zanussi ZWD12270W1 Washer Dryer White from John Lewis. I chose it since it was recommended and since it had an express delivery.

    The website was awkward, since one could only choose to deliver precisely 2 days in advance, so even though I could have ordered on a Monday, I had to order on Tuesday for it to arrive on Thursday.

    John Lewis is part of the John Lewis partnerhip with 27 stores in the UK and quite a few more to open in major regional shopping centres in the next few years.

    John Lewis is unique in being owned by the staff that work for the organisation and this enables them to offer the customer an excellent level of customer service

    John Lewis also own the upmarket Waitrose Supermarket which sells food and competes quite keenly with the major supermarket chains, and M and S food
