HD blew it in 2009 by bead blasting the lower cases. Why mess with a winner? The Dyna Street Bobo bike rides great, has enough go to stay with a bagger CVO, and the gas milage is around 48 m/gallon. I put on the heavy breather and after market shorty pipes, dyno'd and have been very pleased with the performance. I would like to see HD issue a blackened set of rims as an option over the spoke rims for looks and ease of maintenance. I would like to have bought the windshield/packer bar as a kit and in black. I bought the chromed hiway and packer bars and had them black crinkle powder coated. A real nice ride with a great look. Sounds as good as it looks too.

My 08 FXDB Harley Davidson was a good ride right off the showroom floor. But like most HD owners you will probably want to customize it. Adding forward controls gives a better riding position (Highly recommended). I found the stock 96 cubic inch engine and pipes to lack sound. I added Rush performance slip ons with the screaming eagle racing super tuner. This wasn't cheap, but it made this bike one loud beast with performance to back it up. Easiest bike to clean I ever owned.

Purchased my Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob - FXDB after owning a Honda Shadow for 3 years. AT 5'-6" tall I was worried about not being comfortable on this bike however, installing Progressive shocks gave me the additional one inch that I needed. I also added V&H black shorties, a stage one pack and I had some of the chrome powder coated black. This is an awesome bike! It's a lot of fun to ride and for me, the mid controls are perfect! I suggest adding an after market oil cooler since the oil c ...

Clean form and function. Dependable and easy to maintain. Great price on the 09 models.

I don't care too much for the silver powder coated casing. Stock pipes just don't do it. I found mid controls leave for a cramped ride.

After installing new pipes, forward controls, stage one, the Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob scooter is too much fun to even come in for dinner.

The Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob - FXDB is a great bike and I would buy it again if I had to do it over. Fun ride with plenty of power and handles great! Turns lots of heads especially with the black vance and heins shorty exhaust I added. IMO, black pipes and mods look much better on this bike then chrome does. ..... I didn't buy the HD alarm but I did buy the extended warranty. Otherwise, everything was stock when I purchased the bike.

Not had a motorcycle for many years so in April 07 I bought a Harley 883L Sportster and loved it, but kept looking at the Street Bobs, so May 08 I changed the Sportster for the Street Bob, wow what a difference. Sat on a 883L in the motorcycle show last Nov and after riding the Street Bob for could never go back. Not done much to it except Motherwell Solo Rack, and changed the tank badges, looks a lot better.

I picked this Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob - FXDB up a couple of weeks ago and right off the shop floor I have to say it was really easy to ride. I needed to adjust the bars and controls a bit which took a couple of goes to get it just right but once this was done the bike has been nothing but superb. This is my first cruiser and it has been a pleasant change to get to my destination without the need to "fang" around every corner. I haven't done much city type riding on it (but then the bi ...

Great balance and power. Comfortable and easy to ride, both on mountain roads and busy freeways. Can't say enough, almost perfect.
Overall its great but I need to ride it more to find out if anything else needs improvement. As of today it's the best motorcycle for the money I have ever ridden.

Got my 2009 Street Bob after trading my 1250 Vrod last Saturday. The latest in a long line of bikes and a longish line of Harley's I've owned. I love it. Still wonder if I've lost it by paying more money for mat black paint, I'll wait and see how it weathers and wears. The tank badges are crap and lack style, will wait and retro paint the tank. It is a smile a mile bike and the engine seems much smoother than the 96 Wide Glide I had and the gearing is near perfect. I change my bike every year bu ...

Can't say enough about the Harley Davidson Street Bob FXDB, just got a 09 and I cant stay off of it, I graduated from an 07 Nightster sporty which I liked a lot for the bobber look, but the Street Bob is a lot easier ride, and the cool thing is I have a new customizing project.

Best Bike I Ever Owned. I love this bike. I sold my 2004 Electra glide Police to buy this and I have absolutely zero regrets. This is so much more fun to ride. I was pleasantly surprised that highway miles on this bike are not that much less comfortable than my Electra glide. The big difference is the "ride-ability". It is perfectly weighted and I love the way you practically sit in the bike rather than on it. The 96 engine is a screamer and I added V&H short slash pipes and a stage 1. Couldn't ...

I am absolutely in love with this bike and despite the niggles am more than happy with it. Another plus point when owning a Harley is the cameradery of other Harley riders (always get and give a wave of recognition) as well as the great welcome I got from my local HOG chapter.

If your thinking about getting a Harley try the Dyna Street Bob before you buy another model. A Big Vtwin Harley-Davidson which for me has the perfect riding position, looks great and priced well .............. what a motorcycle should look like.

Sold my 2005 Sportster to buy this bike. No regrets, even through 100lbs heavier it is much nimbler than the Sporty was. The fuel injection makes a big difference on starts. At first I was a little biased against the Denim. But it easier to keep clean and grows on you. Black powder easier to care for than the chrome. I added a Detachable Harley windshield, and a Sundowner seat. looking for a good set of Engine Bars. The nine inch mini-apes are just the right size.
