“Phillips 32PF5521d Flat screen HD ready TV”

★★★☆☆

Bought about 5 years ago this TV performed well in both analogue and digital modes. The user instructions are very poor and not logically sequenced. Picture quality excellent, and sound is good via the home cinema system we had with it. It has an annoying habit of locking up if you try to change channels after you've been watching for a while, and you have to switch off for a few minutes to let it re-boot. The problem was managable prior to digital switchover. We have had to re-tune numerous times and it keeps droping chanels, and not locks up daily. No info anywhere and manuals just about useless. Shame this technical problem since switchover has spoilt an otherwise good TV
