Good Points: Good calling rates for the sub-content Billed by the minute. No hidden call connection or termination charges, you get to utilise your entire credit on actual talk time. So suitable for making even short calls. Good clarity of voice Direct access from designated phone-line, you don't have to dial the pin number every time. Facility to designate frequiently dialled numbers as favourite numbers, saving you the trouble to dial the numbers everytime.
Bad Points: Difficult to get through the access numbers during peak hours, specially on weekend (This problem has started only past 3-4 months, but apparently haven't been fixed yet)
General comments: I would've been very tempted to rate this service as 8-9 if it weren't for the access number problem I'm facing past few months.
Overall the service provides a good value for money. I use the service primarily to call in India. The rate offered is 3.7p per minute for landline access which I guess is very cheap (correct me if I'm wrong). Mind you that some calling cards may offer cheaper rates, but they charge a hefty call connection charges which more than offsets the benefit of lower tariff. With RIC, you get to you utilise your entire credit on actual talk-time, even if you speak for less than a minute. There are absolutely no hidden call connection charges or admin charges etc.
On a negative note, lately I've witnessed difficulty in accessing the landline access numbers for using the service over the past few months during peak hours. This may be because of increased volume of calls as the service is becoming popular. I'm very disappointed that they haven't done much to increase the bandwidth as far as I am aware. However, if you're not particular about making your calls during peak hours (weekends and some evenings), and are flexible about the time when you have to make a call, this is an excellent service and provides good value for money.

Terminated my membership due to Reliance India Call's pathetic service I experienced in all areas. I must say their service was very good prior to the problem started during the initial 5 months of my membership after joining RIC.
Their UK local access number for prepaid calling service remains busy for the last 6/7 weeks and customer service employees I spoke to were very rude (offshore team) and has no clue at all when I queried about the fault and when this expected to be fixed. I had no opt ...
