Good Points: Owen Wilson is mildly amusing just to look at and Kate Hudson is very good to look at.
Bad Points: The film has no comedy value what-so-ever. Don't get me wrong, I have seen other Owen Wilson films that are funny, Kate Hudson is a good actress and Matt Dillon is always reliable, but they just do not work together.
General comments: What's funny about someone going to stay at someones else's house?
The film has also been described as a "gross out comedy," which it is not. American Pie is a gross out comedy, but this is just a naff movie.

You, Me and Dupree is a funny film with some daft humour that probably wouldn't have worked if not for great casting. If you want some light entertainment and a few good laughs give this film a watch.
