Car was picked up promptly by casually dressed man (no suit) from pink meet and greet. Pickup was relatively painless and the car was cleaned as agreed and paid for.
3 weeks later - I get a letter from Tesco's in Gatwick saying that my car had been parked in their car park for over 4 hours!
Not exactly "secure" parking and not what I would expect.
I will not use this company again. (read more)

I have just noticed on the Pink Meet and Greet website that they are no longer trading, I am glad I came across these other reviews, otherwise I would have turned up at the airport to have no parking arranged. Now I just need to see if I can get any money back from either them or my credit card company? (read more)

This is a terrible car park. They took our car out, which is a new BMW, damaged the vehicle and the expenses were worth £2500. Car was awfully dirty when returned. It is now almost a year and still haven't paid us. Could someone please help. (read more)

I also booked in January 2007, having been tempted by the low prices and thinking they were connected to Pink Elephant Parking, whom I've used before. I then read these reviews and an article in the Mail on Sunday saying that they are being investigated for dubious practises. I made my booking with Pink Meet and Greet and received my email confirmation. On the day of travel we set out to Gatwick and as requested by the company I rang the 24 hour mobile number 15 minutes before arrival at the airport. The so called 24 hour mobile rang and rang, then was engaged, then rang and rang, then was engaged this carried on for 45 minutes until the person was obviously fed up of me calling and turned the mobile off.

I used Pink last year without a hitch, when I went to book this year I saw this website under the Pink one on Google, obviously I took a look and was rather concerned. Eventually I decided to go with my gut feeling and book through Pink, again I was not disappointed. The driver arrived exactly at the agreed time and delivered the car back exactly 15 minutes after I called. Not sure if I've just been lucky but twice without a problem, I will use them again. Cancelled my booking after a friend told me about the Sky news report.
This was in Oct 06, I am still awaiting my refund.
Despite 5 phone calls and about 5 emails I have received absolutely nothing.

What a surprise, the Pink Meet and Greet phone line wasn't working when I called, having left the M25. I had to park in the long stay car park. Eventually got through to a customer service representative who advised me to ring head office. I have emailed for a refund but having read other comments I hold out little hope.
Incidentally, I spoke to a chap from BAA at the arrivals desk in Gatwick who said that he had encountered lots of people who'd had problems with Pink. Looks like you get... (read more)

What a good meet and great, it was easy when I got to the airport. No hassle of buses, the pink and meet driver was very polite and helpful. We could not have asked for more.
When I returend, I phoned up and the car was there waiting for me.

My car was badly damaged whilst on holiday in their care. The driver who returned the car had no idea who to contact, who to phone to complain. We were left at the airport on our own without assistance including my wife and two very young children. Three months on they haven't replied, I constantly phone to be fobbed off. Our car was left with Pink Meet & Greet for a week, but they were unable to return it since they somehow managed to flatten the battery when moving it from the 'secure' compound in Horsham to a non-secure road near a Crawley Retail Estate the day before our return. How horrified to find out that the car wasn't kept secure, and we were astounded to know that they had no way of jump starting the car themselves.

I too booked them before reading the Mail on Sunday's article regarding this company. I also decided to cancel my booking on 29th August, and I was told it could take up to 3 weeks for my refund. On my return to the country I was left waiting for six hours! Yes, six hours for my car to be returned. Stranded at Gatwick airport in the cold early hours of the morning whilst my car, which it turns out had been parked 5 minutes round the corner, was located and returned to me. I'd suggest phoning them as soon as you're off the plane and not waiting until you've picked up your bags as per their instructions. This way you're less likely to experience a delay. I can't confirm whether Pink Meet & Greet held the car in a secure place while I was away as I don't know where they kept it! I suppose you're less likely to leave a review if you've had a good experience than bad - this should be taken into account. (read more)

On both the outbound and the return trip they were significantly delayed (20 minutes on arrival at Gatwick for our outbound and 1 hour on our return). We called before we had collected our luggage because we knew they had been slow before; even so, we had to call 4 more times to ensure that they sent the car. It arrived 1 hour after we had first called Gatwick Pink Meet & Greet airport parking!! Not a pleasant way to come back into the country.

I booked Pink Meet and Greet as we had a very early morning flight from Gatwick, and thought this service would be good, as I have a 10 month old and did not fancy the hassle of parking on the outskirts and waiting for a transfer bus at 4.00am in the morning. I had a very swift handover of my car both ends of my holiday, and they arrived on time. I had read the Review Centre site after I had booked their service, and I was horrified at what I saw. My friends were also using the service and had no problem. My confirmation date was wrong, but I changed that via telephone without a problem.

Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before using them. I was slightly concerned when I saw the appearance of the 2 men that arrived 1 hour late to take our two cars away, but they were there on time when we arrived home. However, I have just had the pleasure of a £75 parking fine arrive at my door for a time when I was under the impression my car was in their secure compound with 24 hour security. The driver from Gatwick Pink Meet & Greet met us and helped with our bags. He was funny, and most of all on time and truthful. Our driver, when we called, guided us in and also told us that we were early and might have to wait a short time, but he would call when there, and he told us where to go for coffee. And sure enough our driver called before we could have coffee and fitted us in 20 minutes before we were due.

The confirmation was wrong - all the dates and times were changed by Gatwick Pink Meet & Greet's booking system. When I asked them to confirm they did have the correct details verbal ok and nothing.
Day before phoned to confirm our details and was told all ok - wasn't - as the driver weas still expecting us at the time their booking system gave!
When you phone to say that you have arrived, they automatically say 20 mins and then they say the car is on its way and it isn't.

Avoid Pink Meet & Greet at all costs. Met ok on the departure, but upon return kept us waiting for 2 hours outside the terminal, despite landing on time as stated to them. Kept saying they would be 10 minutes on the phone every time I rang. No apology and will not offer any refund whatsoever and even claim not to receive letters sent 1st class or emails of complaint.
