Good Points: Tastes good but not great
Bad Points: Does not taste remotely close to it's bean version which is spectacular. Unfortunately Carte Noire bean is not available in the US
General comments: Save your money. Carte Noire ground is not special at all. Ask your friends to bring you a pack of Carte Noire (bean) from their trip to Europe.

Carte Noir is an instant coffee. As such, it cannot compete with freshly ground filter or espresso brands, however, compared to other instant coffees it is superb. It has a full-rounded heady aroma, and makes for a strong aromatic cup of coffee. Recommended. My rating: 82%
