    Don't use them, they have gone bust and I can't get my advanced fees back.

    Have booked with yes and am waiting for voucher. Yes said i would get it in 24 hours. Still waiting 3 days later. Have tried calling them on numerous occassions NO ANSWER. SAY NO TO YES.

    Booked car hire with YES. They took my money and sent me a Voucher. In florida I got our Car ,but when we returned it we were told that Yes car Hire had not paid Alamo for Three weeks.We were charged again By Alamo Who charged us £200 more than Yes.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YES CAR HIRE TO MY BEST FRIEND>

    PAID £455 FOR HIRE VEHICLE THROUGH YES CAR HIRE IN JULY 09. CHECKED IN TO PICK UP CAR IN SANFORD AIRPORT 25 09 09. NO PROBLEM ( HAVE A NICE DAY ).RETURNED HOME 09 10 09,ACCOUNT OVERDRAWN AND £631 TAKEN BY ALOMO BECAUSE NOBODY HAD THE DECENCY TO INFORM ME THERE WAS A PROBLEM THANKS TO YOU BOTH (HAVE A NICE DAY).

    ARRIVED MIAMI 26SEPT WITH PREPAID VOUCHER FROM YESCARHIRE FOR AN ALAMO COMPACT CAR.MY VOUCHER WAS ACCEPTED WHICH IS STRANGE AS I SEE IN ONE REVIEW SOMEONE HAD ONE REJECTED ON 25/09/09.AS YOU KNOW THEY TAKE AN IMPRINT OF YOUR CREDIT CARD FO SECURITY AND ON RETURNING THE CAR I WAS PRESENTED WITH A BILL FOR$593 AND TOLD THEY NO LONGER DEALT WITH YESCAR.

    I also recieved a letter saying that Almo were not accepting car hire vouchers from yescarhire and to send details to yescarhire to become one of their creditors. This suggests to me they have gone bust leaving me with no car of money

    we were told at the desk that we would not be able to fit our suitcases into our car a 4 door economy we have hired a 4 door economy before and have had no problem the desk clerk was trying his hardest to make us upgrade but my husband was not having any of it. The desk clerk said that

    I received a letter yesterday from YesCarHire confirming that they are not able to provide me with the car hire service, and making no suggestion on how I can receive a refund. In the letter, it explained only that Alamo has suspended YesCarHire account facility. And I've been told by Alamo that YesCarHire has gone bust! I am now becoming one of their unsecured creditors and left with no money and no car!

    I think that this company have gone bust.

    I have family which arrived in Florida on Friday 25th September with their voucher, to be told by Alamo that Yes Car Hire had not paid the invoices, and therefore they would not release the car. After hours of messing in the airport with an 11 month old baby, they got a taxi to their hotel.     second time we have used yes car hire we had gold waiver its the best they asked in florida if i wanted an upgrade and i said no i am quite happy with the 4 door economy it cost 306 pounds when i got home i had a visa for an extra 108 pounds i have rang yes to see what it was for so far they are not very helpful

    The cover provided is very 'transparent' you know exactly what you pay for - last time, picking up in Dulles Washington, we were even warned about a hard sell of additional insurance from Alamo, we were told we did not need it (in writing) After a lot of haggling at the Alamo desk we called for the Duty Manager showed him the covering letter and he apologised for his employee claiming it was a commuication mix up!     We were assured that there would be no problem whatsoever even though the cars were booked at short notice.We were therefore left stranded at Orlando Airport with no transport and as there was 10 in our party including young children it proved very inconvenient as other car hire companies were charging astronomical prices therefore our only alternative was to use local taxis creating extra expense we could have done without.I have not had a satisfactory explanation therefore I feel I should warn ...

    Good points with Yes Car Hire, vehicles and pricing and charging. Bad points, they keep sending me promotional e mails. Url link to unsubscribe declares itself to be an "invalid link". I like hiring cars from them but I wish they would leave me alone. Unless Yes Car hire stops pestering me with their unwelcome promotional emails I will hire my vehicles from elsewhere when I am in the usa.

    We were initially dubiuous about using 'yescarhire' because it was so much cheaper than alternatives that we thought that there must be some catch. But there wasn't. We hired a car in Boston, USA, from Alamo, the pick-up was quicker than for others queuing in the Alamo office. The car was exactly what we expected, there were no mileage restrictions, we had no problems whatsoever, and the car drop-off was straight forward and easy. We were really pleased and would definitely use them again.

    Hired car through Yes (UK) for 26 days visit to eastern Canada/USA in July /Aug 08. Company acts as a broker and I was sent a voucher for Alamo, to collect car at Halifax Int Airport. Option of Silver or Gold packages, I chose Gold as not that much more expensive, Would recommend, as package gives all-in cover, unlimited mileage, extra driver etc. Desk at airport rather busy but staff helpful, given another voucher to take to Alamo booth at car rental lot outside.     They did not have a car for me on arrival [pre-booked], they said need to upgrade - extra charge, car provided would not start. Took two days to replace. Phone calls - all the names you are given are on holiday. Staff at Madeira unhelpful

    Despite the fuel tank saga, I would still use them again. I'd just be more careful about getting the right package.

    Yes Car Hire gave us a very good price, which beat all the other Internet deals. Everything went as they told us it would, and their customer service was great! The tickets came to us in under 48 hours. Thank you guy's!!
