    I received terrible customer service from Atlas Choice and I will never be using them again. To be honest, I would prefer to pay more and go directly to Hertz.

    I was repeatedly given incorrect information by the Atlas Choice customer service team, which lead to me contacting Hertz directly in order to get my questions answered.

    I was also extremely dissapointed that Atlas Choice refused to honor you 14 Day Money Back Warranty- This is obviously a way to trick customers into taking out car hire with you and is not actually a valid promise.

    Do not use Atlas Choice!! Yes, they are slightly cheaper than other sites but you will end up wishing you'd paid a bit more and used a different company!

    Opted for people carrier as there were 6 of us. Provided with Fiat Ducato 'Van' that had seats put in it. Uncomfortable, horrible to drive, no view for children as windows too high/seats low, rear sliding door jumped off runners. I could go on. Complained, told that it was 'within same group'. I would NOT use this company again!

    My rental through Atlaschoice was with Dickmanns rentacar.On the final day of hire the car would not start when we went to return to the airport. I was told to hire taxi's and they would pay for the taxi's. This refund of fare did happen on the day. However 3 weeks later we noted an extra £150 had been taken from our credit card. We called Dickmanns in Spain 4 times during which they told us the money had been taken for a tyre, because we had left on an internal light running down the batt ...

    Just called their customer services to clarify detials and was quoted a much higher price than that on the website without an explanation.
    The excess reimbursement insurance sounds like a rip off, although you pay an additional daily surcharge to cover this they still insist you pay the up front and then get it reimbursed.
    My recommendation is to not use this company nothing sounds transparent about it's pricing.

    I have contacted BBC Watchdog about this company. If everybody does the same we can expose them for the criminals that they are!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - Poor service and shoddy treatment.

    Atlas advertise their rental partners to be reputable companies such as Avis, Hertz, Sixt etc but this is not always the case as I discovered too late to change my booking.

    Atlas failed to provide me with the booking confirmation or rental voucher until the day before our departure even though they had taken the money from my credit card a week earlier. I asked for the voucher several times and in the end it arrived so late, I had al ...

    This review is accurate.I did not get to the rental stage for the car hire i declined their offer because they upped the offer by forty pounds. They did not have too access my account but they went ahead and put £30 less back. When i phoned they said the money was for ammendments to my booking,there was no booking, only a request.     Recently booked via this bunch and have had appaling service!! SO STAY AWAY!!

    They charged us £40.25 for a small car from London Gatwick to Luton Airport.

    We printed out their paperwork and arrived at Hertz to find out the booking was twice as much as we were told. Told Hertz we didn't want it.

    Contacted Atlaschoice, and we told we wouldn't get a refund as we walked away from the booking.

    Paid all extra insurances which were supposed to cover us for all eventualities. when we picked up car we were told that we had to pay extra for glass & tyre cover or we could not have car. When complained to Atlas choice the customer service manager was rude and accused us of not reading documents correctly. She also said that none of her other customers had problems like this. I beg to differ after reading this website!!!

    stay away from atlas, hidden charge of 50euro to get the car at 2100hrs made it the most expensive online instead of the cheapest. 14day 'no quibble refund' only applies if booked 31 days in advance (who does that on car hire)Guy on the phone was rude and offensive.I would NEVER use them again.

    Car supplied by Zenith Rent a Car. They supply car with full tank and give no refund for returned fuel. Not a major problem with that. They actually charged 1.50 Euro/litre for the fuel, local garage 0.917. This made them well over 20 euro on the rental. Remember to add this 20 euro to the hire when making comparisons.

    We were allocated a 'partner' car hire company - Easy@car Pisa airport. The car was dirty and in poor state - half a door handle missing. Soiled seats. Scratched all over. It had been cleaned however. The car broke down, I had to call the emergency number who at first said that they couldn't come out for that car. Then confirmed with hire company and did come out.     atlas choice conned me by taking £25 extra out of my account without telling me! just for collecting the car after 6pm! but didn't mind me cleaning and bringing the car back much earlier though!

    hello, i'm a former rent a car agent in malaga, and reading all this reviews, i must say is not only the brokers fault, also the local partner are a disaster promising what they don't have, i been working in a company that had an arrangement with atlas choice, this deals are done on internet, never, never any rep from the brokers have a look to the cars that partner affirm they have, so, you can say that all your cars are new and bla bla bla, and you see, this is what you get, remember not alway ...

    Our Honda CVR was exactly what we wanted and needed. It was a almost new car and great value for money. Delevered at the right time at our hotel.
    No complaints at all with atlas choice.

    Atlas failed to email hire vouchers prior to departure, despite repeated requests. Had to contact their agents directly.
    Pre-paid insurances were charged for again in Italy. Atlas denied any responsibility for this overcharging and ignored follow up emails. I would NEVER use Atlas again.

    Atlas Choice is an awful company. We hired a car in Poland. The partner turned out to be an obscure independent company called ABCO. When we returned the car, they made a fuss about a tiny mark. It was so small, you couldn't see it unless you got the light right. It was probably there at the start, but we hadn't seen it. They charged our deposit, and got quite intimidating.     Hired a car throught Atlas Choice for our holiday in Crete. Hired 1 week prior to departure and thought there might be a chance all will be booked out. Made a booking, got a confirmation within an hour. excellent car, great service, will book again!

    I get reduced rates on car hire from a number of companies.
    Alamo being the best value. But I saw atlas on the internet and thought U'd give them a try ,it looked quite good value at £140 for 2 days (Itlay being one of the most expensive carhire countries)I ended up having to pay 165 with no explanation or I was'nt getting the car.When I returned it with a quater of a tank of petrol down due there was nowhere to fill it in the last 20 miles or so to malpensa a/port they explained I would ...

    We booked 2 cars through Atlas Choice in November 2008 for our holiday booked on 28th July 2009, so they had plenty of notice to fulfill our requirements. We arrived at Faro airport with three small children to find there were no cars available. They could not offer any kind of help other than to call our agent (ATLAS) in the morning.
