Due to moving house, we looked for the best Broadband deal. Due to 4G, we looked at EE. The service initially was ok, regarding set-up, but as I work from home I realised my emails were not sending. I contacted EE and an assistant immediately logged in to my system. He sorted the problem with the emails sending, but as he did so he immediately deleted the whole of my Inbox, where all my work was stored. His response was "Oooops. I've deleted your emails. I'll get someone to call you... (read more)

Why do companies that do well for so long expand and become rubbish. They should stick to what they do best. I have had an orange mobile of about 10 years I have always been so happy with the service they provide me so when it came to change my broadband I though go with orange it makes sense. How wrong was I. The router came and when I set it up I could not get on the internet via Wi-Fi so I had to call the helpline my heart sank when I heard a foreign voice on the other end of the phone... (read more)

As an existing Orange customer, decided to give their home broadband a go. Always seemed like a technologically advanced company with a decent product offer, and I'd always been pleased with their service. Sadly, they are now offering a product that is not competitive and will ruin their brand image before it's even got going. Due to distance from the exchange, we've never had great speeds. However, we now need to constantly re-set the router, encounter very slow speeds at peak times (ie... (read more)

I had a broadband and land line contract from Oct 2011 until Oct 2012.The deal was for 20 Mega speed ( I never ever had in one year even 9 Mega...)calls etc. When I complained they said it's my computer fault, not them. Even after the end of the contract they were requesting payments. When I called them, I have been told by them ( call centre in Pakistan )that I should write a letter letting to know that I don't want anymore to continue the old contract. I have been with freeserve/orange/ee since broadband started. It's been ok but recently stopped working. I had to phone the foreign call centre for about half an hour on 5 different occasions before they would log my fault. In the end they agreed there was a fault on the line. 4days after that it started working again. The different departments you get handed to dont know... (read more)

I have had a package with Orange, for quite a number of years, that included a second line. When EE took over I had an email last August to say that for new customers this would be no longer offered, for existing customers who used it on a regular basis it would remain active for as long as they wished, which I did. Email from them in February said that on March 27th this line would be disconnected!! The only way to get the included calls was to get a total package from them, including... (read more)

I have been with EE (Orange) Broadband since November after moving from O2 Broadband. O2 Broadband was reliable, no issues with them. I only moved after taking out a mobile contract with EE and they were also offering a cashback deal. Within days of being with EE I found my line was unreliable. I had fast speeds but frequent disconnections. I spoke to Support after 30 mins on hold who said this was "normal" and all part of line stabilisation. Two weeks later I reported the same issue...
