Good Points: Looks like a good deal to me...
Bad Points: The promised package never worked, and when after numerous expensive phone calls they concluded they could not get it to work they agreed to pay back the cost of the (non existent) service, then they didn't pay!
General comments: I have never experienced such poor customer service personally! The tech side kept procrastinating about getting it working in my opinion (it will work in two days, then seven days, then fourteen days etc), Finally even the orange customer support suggested that I should get another provider...To add insult to injury they said they would refund what I had paid waiting for the service to work, then didn't. I have concluded that their strategy is to frustrate you to the point of giving up. What seemed like a dream package turned out to be a nightmare for me.

Customer service was unhelpful as far as I am concerned. Originally when I first ordered I was told it would be here within 2 weeks, 1 month later and had to call back to inquire, was then told that they had no record and that I had to re-order it. Now nearly 3 weeks later I called back up and they told me that they had the address wrong and I would have to call back and re-order AGAIN! Unhelpful customer service! Prepare to speak to India on a bad connection with polite yet unhelpul customer service people in my experience, And they charge you for the phone call!
We have been without broadband for 12 weeks and Orange doesn't seem to care or are able to fix it as far as I am concerend.

Orange are ok in their shops, and the online site is easy to use too. The phone support is poor in my opinion and experience. I hate hate hate hate every pore of myself every time I have to call them. I seem to only ever get put through to India as far as I am concerned, and they are extremelly limited to what they can do for me as far as I am concerned. Made my order last week on the net. 7 days days after (earlier than I was told), I got my livebox and got set up up straight. Call centre extremely helpful. No waiting.
Connection is perfect, livebox easy to use. An absolute different experience than with my first IPS: BT broadband. I absolutely recommand Orange.

Will never recommend this service provider even if it is one of the cheaper ones. As what is the use in my opinion for me of a cheap broadband service provider when actually I never use it. Therefore I personally do not recommend Orange Broadband, The problem began when I ordered a home move. Orange kept on trying for 2 and half months to start providing the service at my new home but ultimately failed to do so in my opinion.

Internet service is satisfactory, easy to set up. However due to my experience I best look elsewhere, can't wait to get out of this contract. Customer service was unhelpful in my opinion. They have failed to supply a second line which I pay for. My problem has been "escalated" 6 times, but nobody rings when promised as far as I am aware. Technical help lines are cost prohibitive. If you have a problem you will probably struggle with Orange.

I would not recommend Orange broadband due to their customer service in my experience... I feel I found it very difficult to get hold of them and when I did I personally felt I received hardly any help.
My Broadband has been down for 3 weeks. I have been on the phone to them for ever. I feel I have received no help and believe the customer services are unhelpful.

Slow connection, unhelpful customer service section in my opinion, took 8 weeks to move connection over from my previous address as far as I am concerned.
I wouldn't go with Orange again for anything.

Have been an Orange Broadband customer for more than 10 years. Their move into broadband via Wanadoo was a BIG mistake for me personally. Stick to mobiles. They cannot handle the technical side and I can't be dealing with foreign call centres as I can not understand them. I have to use phonetics to spell out the questions when providing the Livebox settings, never mind the answers in my case. I have used Orange 2mb now for 18 months and I have had no problems. The original provision was done exactly at the time they said it would be and when I changed house the transfer of service to my new address and telephone line was trouble free. Overall I have no complaints what so ever.

I do not recommend to use Orange Broadband due to my experience, I felt that the customer services never tried to solve my problem and ring me, I always had to phone them and struggle to get help as far as I am concerned, and in my opinion that is not the use of CUSTOMER SERVICES. I also as far as I am concerned started with 4.5 mb now 1.1mb in my experience, in fact in my opinion there is not one positive thing I can mention about my experience with Orange Broadband.

I have been a customer with orange previously freeserve and wanadoo for 5 years. But no more thank goodness. The problems started when they attempted to upgrade my speed. Immediately I was unable to access most websites. Repeated phone calls (at my expense) to customer support was frustrating to say the least. In my experience, 2 Livebox issues could not be fixed by their technicians even though they still charged me in full for the complete talk package which I never once received. The long and the short of my experience with Orange is you end up repeating yourself every time you have to call them back to find out how their line checks went or whatever and then the new person you speak to goes over the same ground you have already covered umpteen times before.
So when it works its OK but if anything ...

Slow to act, difficult to contact, far too long answering queries, incorrect information, insular attitude, connection speed average, my concerns never really resolved. As far as I am concerned this provider flatly refuses to email answers re phone packages instead insisting that I phone and when I do I feel I am consistently given wrong info.

Orange Broadband were better as wannadoo. I was disconnected for 25 days! (after being with freeserve and wannadoo) I rang up customer services EVERY DAY, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day for 25 days and got told different stories each time in my opinion.
