Absolutely appalling, the download speeds have dropped to an average of 0.3Mbs during the peak periods. Sometimes I am getting faster upload speeds than download. If I go online at retard o'clock in the morning I can get 3.0Mbs O whoopee do!! Hello Earth to Orange! I want decent speeds when I want to use the internet not when you can be bothered to give it to me! I had several long and interesting chats with the helpful people at orange support (note the sarcasm) during which I was informed that it must be the BT line that was at fault. If that is the case, why was my next door neighbour getting 1.0Mb/s when I was getting 0.3Mb/s? In short if you are the sort of person who enjoys mutilating your scrotum with a rusty pen knife, sign up to orange. Otherwise, avoid them like the plague, they are useless. (with thanks to my 15 year old son for the advice on grammar don't you just hate it when they do that)

Terrible Customer Support. They are ok until you got a problem. Once you have problem, customer support are absolutely unhelpful. I was billed wrongly twice in my past years but they never accepted their faults even though their faults were so obvious from anyone's view. I have written to HQ about it but they have never come back. Then this time I was charged for late payment for last three months. They said, as I had changed my payment details, transaction was slow. I HAVE NOT CHANGED ANY PAYME ...- Read Guest's review (108 words)

Don't take Orange. Moved house and not had a connection for 9 weeks. Poor customer support with no one seeming to know what the problems was or how to sort out.- Read Guest's review (30 words)

I have orange broadband for sometime now, when i first got it it was fine then roughly a month later it died. my download speed is on average 400-600k. im going to get sky broadband as i already have sky tv.

I've been with Orange Broadband for about 3 years and all was fine until they emailed me to say there was going to be some work carried out on the local exchange which would result in me having a faster connection.
The work was done and all was well for a couple of weeks, since which time the connection has been far slower than prior to the work. I was getting a download speed of approximately 1.5 meg. Now it's only about 500 - 600k! Additionally there are times when everything grinds to a halt ...- Read Guest's review (269 words)

Just don't even think about selecting Orange Broadband.
2 days after handing over my MAC code from my old supplier my broadband service ceased. The technical support is appalling and this time its not the call center people its the procedure they have to work to.
If you need broadband for work don't choose it, I have had no service for 45 days now.
I wish i had stayed with my previous supplier Demon Internet even thou they are more expensive i did not loose one day of service in five years. ...- Read Guest's review (90 words)

Orange... One of the most crappiest services ever! If I ever download anything from 12pm-11pm it is so frickin slow! I have to get up super early in the morning to actually use the net properly without loads of slowdowns. Or I have to wait til Midnight. Cmon think about it who wants to use the internet at 1am properly. People gotta sleep you know! It lags like crazy when I play my Wii or Playstation 3 online. Occasionally on my Wii it cancels me out of games. Its really frustrating! My advice is ...- Read Guest's review (110 words)

I have been with Orange for over 4 years, but recently my bille has increased from £18 to £25 for wireless router and free calls. I was happy even though phone line was poor quality and slow speeds on pc, but the sudden increase due to Orange having to use BT phoneline has made me think of leaving. It's just not worth that money plus BT phone rental per month. I think it is unfair that they put the prices up this much to long, loyal serving customers.- Read gloworm's review (87 words)

Have been with Orange Broadband since they took over from Wanadoo. Have had no problems up to now, they put my monthly rate up from £14.99 to £19.99 and since then we have had nothing but trouble. We had no internet for 3 weeks, customer service is not good, Indian call centre and they do not seem to know how to sort out a fault. We have a new router now and that keeps disconecting it is so annoying. It is 50p per min to call tec support and they keep you on the line for ages. ...- Read Guest's review (113 words)

I have been with Orange Broadband for 3 years now and have just decided to cancel, something I should have done a long time ago! My reasons being, just like everyone else on here, I found the 'technical' support absolute rubbish and felt like I was talking to an automated human being. My livebox suffered a failure due to a surge on the phoneline following an electrical storm. After an hour and a half telling the person on the other end that I saw my livebox flash, pop, and emit a small amount o ...- Read chrisbaxter55's review (143 words)

I changed to Orange from BT about a 18 months ago and the service has been excellent. Better than BT in terms of speed and reliability. Support is as good as any other I have used. The service has never once been out within the 18 months or so and the Livebox has worked perfectly for four laptops, a Wii and a PS3. The icing on the cake is that Orange have provided this excellent service very competatively in conjuction with my mobile contract. I highly recommened them.
I went for Orange contra ...- Read Guest's review (165 words)

Have been with Orange since it took over from Wanadoo. They got my connection speed up to close on 8Mbps for 18 months but have twice caused probems. On both occasions it took over a month to sort out and endless phone calls. I think I would prefer to drink battery acid than deal with this company again. When things are OK the company seems OK but when things go wrong-boy what a complete disaster area they are! Customer service is appalling with conflicting answers being given-and all at a very ...- Read Guest's review (144 words)

Been with Orange (previously called wanadoo)for years and never have had a problem. Service has been consistently good and excellent value for money up until now. Have just received a letter from Orange saying that my monthly payment is going up from £12.72 a month to £19.99 a month - a rise of 55%!!!!. My speed has constantly been 2.2 megs and will not improve for a least another year. As a result of this outrageous rise I am now looking for a new provider.- Read Guest's review (84 words)

I was with Wanadoo which was taken over by Orange a few years ago, since they have taken over I have had no problems with the service I never get slower speeds or dropped connection I also have the home phone line with them and it is always connected I never have been left once without either service. My only grip with them is the price at the moment they have just put it up to £32 a month (for broadband 8meg, unlimited downloads, unlimited phone calls evening and weekend, unlimited calls ...- Read jomiles's review (125 words)

When the Orange Broadband service works, it is fair. I have never got better than 4.5meg even though they say I should get 6meg where I live. Most often it is around 2.5-3meg.
When it doesn't work, the service and customer support are TERRIBLE! Each time the connection fails, it takes at LEAST one week to get it going again. One incident took 3 weeks to get resolved! Calls to "technical" support are virtually worthless as all they do is read off cue cards. They have NO technical training ...- Read desertsky's review (303 words)

I have been happy with orange since they took over from wanadoo, I have both broadband and phone with them, however, was paying £23 a month for both then out of the blue I received a letter saying the package i am on is no longer available increasing my contract to £32 a rise of nearly £10 which is ridiculous. When i rang they didnt even care said if i want to leave I have 30 days to do it, and that there prices are rising because they have to pay a company thats on my exchang ...- Read lolly2881's review (126 words)
