Katie Melua is a brilliant album. If you appreciate music and various musical styles theres no way you can fault this album, I'd call her a female Jamie Cullum, but her stuff is more 'bluesy'.
Real chill out album with some quirky songs and lyrics, great relaxing album which id defiantly recommend! And unlike a lot of 'singers' these days, she can REALLY sing, beautiful voice!

Katie Melua, Call Off the Search - Oh my god this is so awful there isn't a word bad enough to describe it. My nan always plays it, it's so slow and boring and just goes on forever. All of the songs sound the same and although she can sing, the songs are terrible. If I was you I wouldn't waste your money.

Katie Melua, Call Off the Search is a wonderfull chill out album. I would reccomend it specially to all of those who would not normally listen to jazz music.
