I like many others did not find this website until after I'd placed my order for a fruit basket for my poorly mum. Ordered fruit basket and got confirmation email to say delivery wed 7th August. Waited all day and for 1 hour longer 8am till 7pm and nothing arrived. Rung the next day to check what had happened and was told that email incorrect as delivery was for thurs. said no go as couldn't wait in again and as delivery address couldn't be altered that day then order cancelled and was told refund should be given within a few days. Don't be taken in by the website.I'm not sure if this company is legit? They do not answer the telephone, take your money on the day of processing. My parents are still waiting for their fruit basket to arrive, now a day later for an anniversary. Well, the company is a joke! I ordered a Caribbean Basket on Thursday for a Friday delivery for a 70th on the Sunday. I called them & ACTUALLY got through to a human, & was told "we'll deliver a fresh basket on Saturday" Huh!!!!! I ordered a basket of fruit to be sent to my mother, aged 85, who is in Hospital at Bangor. The order was placed online on the 12th July for delivery on the 13th. Payment was deducted immediately and an invoice issued confirming delivery for the 13th.The address, post code and ward were correctly acknowledged. Agree, 12.23pm and their phone is engaged, ordered a fruit basket in plenty of time for delivery for my parent's wedding anniversary and a day later, still nothing. I cannot believe a company can promise delivery and not delivery it without any explanation, so angry!

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS COMPANY IS STILL ALLOWED TO TRADE! I sent a fruit basket to my Mom, no one answered the door so they left it in the car park, how clever. They initially apologised and told me that I would receive a refund. 2 months, many chase up calls, emails later I have received nothing but excuses and no refund. Yes. Spoken to [name removed] several times! Still awaiting a refund! ! Company names seem to be increasing daily - Glorious gifts online; fruit galore;, new baby bundle: British bouquet. No wonder a company name isn't given when contacting via telephone. The girl will say anything to get you off the phone and when I ask to speak to someone else she says she is the only one there at the moment! Has anyone any ideas about how to recuperate our loses??

I had the same problem trying to get my money refunded from this company, they just keep on making excuses, [if you can actually get a reply from anyone]. I paid using a debit card, so I contacted my building society who refunded my money through the chargeback scheme. Hope this may be of some help.

The company is also known as "Fruit galore" . I ordered 3 baskets of fruit for the Saturday before Christmas, waited in all day for them ( the £50 charge had gone from my account though!), received no answer to my calls, on that day and since then, and when they finally arrived, the following Monday, was disgusted with the pathetic offering compared with the photo. I ordered flowers to be delivered for my mum's birthday, as I don't live in the UK I have to rely on someone to deliver for me so made the mistake of choosing British Bouquets!! “BORDERING ON CRIMINAL!!!”

I ordered a bouquet for mothers day which did not arrive.They fobbed me off with an excuse that they can only guarantee delivery days when you pay the £5.99 express charge.Flowers did arrive a week late and after a complaint, I received a £15 voucher as apology. When I tried to use this voucher after 2 months it was not valid. I was told that they had been taken over but that they would honour it for me. I am absolutely appalled by the service from this company. I ordered a simply spectacular bouquet and received a simply disappointing service. The flowers arrived dead and wilting, the water that came with it stank and overall they were only fit for the compost. I complained to the company on numerous occasion and they said they would refund my money and they haven't.
