I wrote the previous review "ineptitude". Go and look.

Having looked at these reviews further it annoys me that you guys are not pursuing them to get your money back.

T&C's cannot override Statute Law. Go look up Sales of Goods Act 1979 and Distance Selling Regs at http://www.oft.gov.uk/advice_and_resources

If you do not get what is described then that is a breach of the Sales of Goods Act 1979 Section 13 (Sale by Description) and possibly Section 14 (Quality and fitness for purpose)if you receive mouldy fruit in baskets.
If you do not get any goods delivered then cancel within seven days using Distance Selling Regs. If they fail to pay, don't dick around, sue them.

Be aware though this outfit is based in Scotland and Scotland does have legal rules of it's own. It seems they use this as a benfit to not answer your queries.

    British Bouquets

Floundering ineptitude and light in honesty. Was informed they had carded the premises because they were unable to deliver. Bull***t and proved to be so. They hadn't. They only returned the money the day the court papers were filed because otherwise they were going to court. If you want grief, order from them. If not, go elsewhere. What a shower. Hope you liquidate soon.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering some flowers from British Boquets. Everything about the company is bad....I ordered flowers for my mom on the Friday - they arrived on Wednesday looking like they had seen much better days and looking nothing at all like the picture on the website! There were something like 6 dead flowers, not the big bunch that had been advertised.

I took a picture when the flowers arrived but then went on holiday - on my return I email through a complaint only ...

If you ever have the need to have rotten fruit delivered - order with British Bouquets- they seem to be specialists in the field.

I ordered flowers as an anniversary surprise, and I was surprised the most, when the delivery date provided was a mere indication, rather than an agreed date of delivery.

That meant the it arrived a day late, and the only thing that British Bouquets could respond with, is that it's in their terms and conditions, which is checked when you process your payment.

Why would they bother providing a delivery date, when they cannot commit to this date?

Ordered a birthday gift of flowers/chocolates on Wednesday for delivery on Friday. Requested delivery date was accepted by online ordering system and confirmed by email. Gift arrived on Monday (no holidays involved).

Answerphone was only response to telephone query on Saturday. Customer services referred to T&C's and said this delivery time was normal as recipient's address was in a 'two day delivery area'. It is not.

I will not use British Bouquets agin if I want delivery on time for anni ...

Wish I had known these reviews were here before i used British Bouquets. Wouldnt have touched them if i had as I experienced the same issues as others. For some reason BB have set their website up so that you can put in delivery dates for days that BB dont deliver. Perhaps they should invest in changing that as you even get a confirmation email confirming the date which they wont deliver on; whats the point?Mainly watch out for their 'express delivery throughtout UK' service which is at best ne ...

Rude customer services. British Bouquets sent wrong flowers, then offered to send more flowers and refund 50%.
Would not discuss on the phone - said we had to email then asked us to write and post complaint.
10 emails later - still no joy.

I thought I would use British Bouquets to send flowers for a friends birthday.
Just as I got to the end of the order and attempted to submitt my order, a page appeared telling me their was a problem with the site. I was not sure if the order had been processed, but as I received no e.mail telling me otherwise or any conformation of order or order number I pressumed it had not.
BIG MISTAKE..... I receive a call from my friend thanking me for her flowers, I pressumed they were from another company ...

When you place the order with British Bouquets, you have to tick to say you have read the terms and conditions (but who actually does this does this?) Buried in there it does say that if you order after 3pm the bouquet will not be delivered next day. Though the website gives the impression that it will be. ( The confirmation email has the delivery date as the one you asked for and makes no mention of the fact it may be different) The website fails to tell you that this is a possibility at any ...

British Bouquets, easy to use web site. They sell themselves as an interflora competitor. In fact it seems they are just a flower postage service.I presume the flowers cant be fresh as they are sent by courier days in advance. Not locally delivered. I ordered at 8am for delivery friday and got receipt for friday delivery - they sent by courier for Monday delivery. I never received any contact. Delivery was essential for friday so this was a waste of money. Contacted loads of times. Just keep q ...

Ordered flowers for my mum's birthday, for next day delivery. I received an e-mail confirming they would be delivered on the next day only for them to turn up 2 days late and only then to discover by reading the Terms and Conditions that they don't deliver at the weekends, then why e-mail me to confirm the date?? Why not email me and tell me there are no deliveries at the weekend. I found this very misleading.

I ordered flowers for my mum for delivery the next day. During checkout I wasn't informed that this couldn't be adhered to. The flowers were for her birthday so was very upset when they didn't turn up. I phoned this morning and was told that I should have been informed on checking out that weekend deliveries were not available - I wasn't. Although on checking terms & conditions this info was available - but who checks this before ordering? Have since cancelled my order.
