Good Points: Very laid back Very good at arguing
Bad Points: Don't like to hear a complaint (maybe if they heard what was being said, they would work differently). No communication until you chase them (I guess it's the laid back attitude).
General comments: I guess I am not the first or the only one who may have faced such a situation, but I am emotionally hurt to the extent that I decided I would write this review.
My husband and I had been looking for a house for almost a year now and this was the perfect house for us. It had everything we could ask for and more. As soon as we viewed the property, we put in an offer through the agent - Berkshire Property Service in Slough. 2 weeks down the line, after some negotiation, we were called and told that our offer has been accepted. We were thrilled. I was so so happy.
But, that happiness had to be short lived. The Agency called back only a few hours later and told my husband that another buyer had bid higher and that we have lost the house. My husband was gobsmacked, and he did not know what to say. He was shocked. No phone calls to consult or let him know that someone else had bid higher. No one phoned to ask us if we would like to revisit our offer. Nothing.
This happened on a Friday, and both myself and my husband were so upset, that it took us the whole weekend to overcome the shock of finding our dream house, being on a high of achieving it and then whoosh, harshly thrown back into limbo. I really can't explain how horrible that feeling was!!
