Good Points: Accuracy is a +100% 1/2in to3/4in group at 35 yards.could do better with upgrading the trigger. Better shoots at 50 and 60 yards.

Bad Points: Front site moves forward releasing the cocking lever. the cocking lever needs to be made out of thicker steel.

General comments: The sites need to be thiner in the front and the rear site needs to be a U/V shape in with fiber optics. The trigger need to adjustable on first & second stage. front site needs to be protected. Front site needs to be made out of a metal alloy.

I use this Diane/RWS Model 46 under lever rifle to shoot birds (small ones) in my barn. Once adjusted for accuracy, I can pick off sparrows easily at 10-15 yards. The chickens don't even pick their heads up! It does get tiring after 20 -30 shots, though.

The Diane 46E is a under cocker that is made with safety, accuracy and fine workmanship in mind. The instant you pick it you note quailty of workmanship in the metal work and wood. All the moving parts are smooth and well work, fine engineering.

The Diane/RW46 is the only fixed barrel rifle I own that I can tell a difference in accuracy from my barek barrels. I've always thoughtthat it was a rumor that fixed barrels where more accurate then Break barrel (which I preferr), but with the Diane ...
