The Hillside Apartments in Faliraki was a last minute deal for us. £129 for a week. Flying direct from Glasgow, this was fantastic. We are a couple in our 30's and wondered if Club 18-30 would be okay because obviously you do hear stories but we had a brilliant time here although the first couple of nights were a bit rowdy then they chucked a few noisy ones out and we all had peace. The weather was glorious, a lovely breeze because of Hillside location. A family run place, they are lovely! The accommodation is basic but our room was clean and large although not all of them are. Everyone's got a hob, fridge, sink, balcony etc. Basic but you're not gonna be in your room long. We never got air conditioning as it was okay to sleep in. The bedding and towels were changed 3 times and bins cleaned out. The towels are not great, I would advise taking your own, honestly. The reps were great but I would also suggest trying out one night out with them and then see if you want to do more. They are expensive so just get together with others and go yourselves. The food at Hillside which you can buy around bar is nice enough but more expensive than walking to resort centre (bar or club street) or beach front and eating there. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Pool bar on various days when it suited us. Kelly's bar (Irish) has a Christmas Party every Tuesday and you can eat and drink between 8.30 and 12 for 20 Euros, lots of places do themed nights and great prices. Bunny's on Bar Street is lovely, food, atmosphere and you can get a beer here between 7 and 10pm for 1 Euro, this is early enough that you can then go somewhere a bit quieter later on or hang around if you like what you see. Hint: Go out onto Bar Street and change venue as you can haggle with staff on street for 2 for 1 cocktails and 2 free shots etc. Otherwise things are expensive as the pound against the Euro is terrible just now. We went to Rhodes Town (lovely) but exchange rate for money that day was 90 cents to the pound. I would buy Euros on-line in advance if you can, this gives you a little more for your money. Beach in Faliraki is great, loungers are 7 Euros to sit on so we just took our towels. Shop around for bottled water. The walk to Resort Centre takes 20 minutes, downhill. The walk back is a little more tiring in the daytime but I enjoyed walking up and down to centre. If that's not your thing then you can get a taxi for about 5 Euros. Once our taxi back cost 8 Euros but that is because we asked someone to call us one instead of getting it on the street. After 5pm taxis to and from resort centre are 5 Euros. Just ask before you get in. All in all a brilliant time and would go back in a heartbeat. Just remember most people who put on reviews would moan about anything. Make your holiday what you want it to be and have a great time.

stayed here for a week, once we seen the appartment we cried-- dirty, smelly, cramped with ugly cats running about. the 18 to 30 reps were very pushy if you didnt take there deals you werent included in anything and they didnt even speak to you. the noise goes on until 6 or 7am so there is no chance of getting any sleep, they will give you a lift into town in there car but charge you full taxi rate, in the shop they sell anything that has been left my previous guests. the towels or sheets dont b ...- Read nurseynursey's review (166 words)

Good holiday, but in my opinion a poor resort! The rooms seemed scruffy to me as they never seemed to get cleaned. Even worse food too in my view! Would not recommend.- Read Guest's review (66 words)

I enjoyed my holiday to Faliraki. The rooms were basic however we only received one toilet roll ALL holiday. If we wanted another toilet roll we had to go down to mama's shop and buy one there. The towels were also dirty and out of shape, the towel I received on day 3 was full of black marks and my friends towel only fitted around her front. The only thing that the maids do in your room all week is change the bins. That was it. We also had to lock ourselves in our room all of the time because th ...- Read legoose's review (391 words)

Everything was spot on. Loved every minute. The Hillside is run by an awesome family, who do anything asked of them, they will go out of there way to help you. The apartments are basic but who cares, you only sleep in there and get changed, it has more or less a 24 hour bar will the pool bar during the day and Ziggy and Charlies bar for the night, I would recommend it to anyone, well anyone who is aged 18 to 30 and loves to party because when you come in off a night out all the guests are just ...- Read Guest's review (108 words)

I loved the Hillside.. I would of stayed there longer if I could! There was no bad points at all! Just don't get allergic to anything..
The weather was in the 45's and was scorching! GREAT! Go to the water park. It's like 7 euros to get there and 20 euros to get in but it's great fun for the day and you get a nice tan without even trying. The clubs, you've got liquid, bed and VIP that the reps take you to themselves. VIP I loved, liquid was good but wasn't really any different to our liquid in ...- Read emma1234's review (607 words)

I can't even begin to start explaining the good points the place was fantastic. Fair enough the rooms were a bit basic but in all fairness its not like I went there for luxury, I went there to party.
The hillside reps were amazing. I would recommend anyone to go to hillside as it was the best holiday of my life and although I am only back a few days ago I am planning on going again near the end of the summer.
Reps were amazing. The food was great. The bar was open all the time. Can't really say ...- Read sambostew's review (152 words)

I can only describe the Hillside in Faliraki as shocking!! When we booked we were told it was a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the town centre. We were in fact nowhere near either! It was at least a 25 minute walk into the town and over 30 minutes to the beach.
The complex itself was an absolute dump. The rooms were disgusting, tiny and basic. The door to the apartment was loose and wouldn't shut properly. We reported this on day 1, but it was never fixed. The balcony doo ...- Read bret5263's review (493 words)

The Faliraki Hillside Apartments are cheap for a reason! In the middle of no-where. You are told 25 mins from resort centre, which is true; 25 mins through back streets, and up a big hill. Not nice in hot weather. Your alternative is a 5 Euro taxi, which soon adds up. The rooms are OK, but don't expect a hot shower unless you take one at 5pm. They also get very hot, but there are no fans available. However, beware opening your door, because you can only sleep from 6-10am because of the noise.
