Regent Kitchens 157 Mitcham Rd, London, SW17 9PG are the biggest bullies and thugs in the business. Their attitude towards customers is intimidating and aggressive. If they don't get the contract to install the kitchen they supply they hold back crucial parts, delay supply, refuse to deliver correctly - they dump it all on the street and leave. I DO NOT reccomend them at all! Highly unprofessional and really appalling people work there who have no idea how to plan a kitchen let alone deal with customers! A nightmare experience and I would never recommend them to anyone. Be warned and keep away!

There is no communication between sales and design, customer service, ordering, fitters, you name it - if there is was a chance for them to mess something up, they generally did. The fundamental problem lies with the fact that they subcontracted the fitting out. The 2 companies don't communicate very well. Our kitchen was delivered at the beginning of December 2006. We were originally quoted 5 days as an installation time. Obviously, what consumers don't always pick up on, is that if they take a ...

Only get a kitchen from them if you can afford to eat out for two months, and don't mind using your bathroom sink as your main source of water for that time.

Di Lusso Kitchens sold us a kitchen in January last year, and although it was at a remarkable price, the headache of installation far outweighed the cost benefit. I tried to phone them every day during those two months, and I could only ever get through when I selected a phone option to make a payment to them (surprise surprise, they ...

After getting the corners, edges and backs, and the last piece of worktop in place by another workman outside of Di Lusso, which cost another £200 on top of the amount I had already paid for fitting, it was finally completed. However, the pipe to the outlet for the dishwasher washing machine etc was to small to take the load, causing flooding. I also had to get that rectified, which was expensive.

I do agree with some points in the previous review, that Di Lusso Kitchens would be fantastic if they could just sort out the parts department to ensure that the whole order is on the van, and if not, give the customer advance warning and a definite date for delivery.

Having said that, I would still recommend Di Lusso, and I am totally delighted with my fab new kitchen.

Early in 2006, the one in our house who likes to be called 'The Boss' decided that we needed a new kitchen - I don't for the life of me know why, because she only ever goes in to put the kettle on, but she is 'The Boss' so my mind was made up (for me!).

Anyway, wanting to take a structured and sensible approach to this we did a little bit of homework and decided that we wanted a good quality kitchen, made to a higher standard than the offerings to those on display in the local DIY stores, or ...

We are currently in a legal battle to have our monies refunded. We have had a non functional, non completed, damaged kitchen since April 2006 - which is extremely difficult when there is a family to feed.

Have got trading standards involved from both our area and Manchester, have written to TV Watchdog, but, more importantly have a barrister representing us legally. After numerous inspections following our weekly then daily complaints re the missing items, quality of product, poor workman ...

I received a poor service from Di Lusso Kitchens. Also, poor design, failed deliveries, missing parts and unhelpful staff - there is essentially no customer service at all. It took them 5 months to finish the kitchen. They finally agreed a goodwill payment back from them of £300, and guess what? That was 4 months ago, and there is no sign of it!

General service standard from Di Lusso was nothing short of abysmal.
Lack of customer care, rudeness from the staff, unreturned calls, missing items, workmen arrived four days late and with an awful attitude and tried their utmost to get away with the bare minimum, including trying to get out of extra work, i.e. gas work, plumbing and electrics, which had already been agreed with Di Lusso. We were left without water, gas and electricity to the kitchen for 5 days.
    Having spent over £5000 ...

We bought an Infinity Kitchen from a local showroom, with interest free Finance, and we must say that we are very pleased with the final result. The original designer was excellent, and used a laptop to show us our kitchen pre-installation. The delivery arrived on time, with one appliance to follow, and the fitting team worked night and day to finish our kitchen. The washing machine was fitted two days later, and overall, we have to say that the company more than kept its promises. Di Lusso call ...

The initial problem was with Di Lusso but Infinity sorted everything. Thought we'd lost the lot but Infinity stepped in delivered on time, fitted within three days, rang us day and night throughout the process absolutely brilliant. Would recommend Infinity to anyone. Can't complain.

After looking at the pros and cons, I am having my kitchen delivered on 13th November, to be installed 14th and 15th by Infinity Kitchens. They know I know what's happened. Initially with De Lusso, we were going to pay cash, the rep told us if we took out a 12 month payment back scheme we would get a big discount - pay £5000 for our kitchen instead of £8000 - so we took that option.

My case is slightly different in that I am protected by a finance company. If anything goes wron ...

The salesman at Di Lusso fitted kitchen promised a spangly new kitchen fitted in four days and said the fitters were craftsmen who took pride in their work and would think of imaginative solutions to any problems which came up. Translation: they would rush to finish in four days, fail to do so, then no one at customer services would ever answer the phone or if they did, they would promise to sort it and then do nothing (except possibly send incorrect or damaged replacements). This company is app ...

Initial contact with Di Lusso was fine; they were my 3rd quotation & designed me a beautiful kitchen. Which I thought I would not be unable to afford, (looking at the real wood doors not plastic). I was very pleased they were only £658 more than B&Q, so I placed my order. That was the last I heard of Di Lusso, all the phone numbers I had were dead. I felt sick after paying £1,868 deposit. Then I was contacted by Infinity Kitchens, who made lots of promises, which I was very dubious o ...

My mom, who is an old an pensioner, wanted a new kitchen. I saw this ad in the daily mail..

She paid the money with a bankers draft, but she really did not want to pay until the work was complete!! Old School.

The Di Lusso kitchen was fitted!! The fitters left quickly, and water leaked on to electric points. The doors did not close properly, the cooker was not fitted because the wrong one was delivered. After 3 weeks mom got her cooker, but then they could not get a fitter!!

    We were t ...

Had a Di Lusso fitted kitchen but some parts were missing. No problem said the fitter, I'll order those for you. He did and they never showed up. Now discovered from the fitter that the company have gone bust leaving me with a half finished kitchen. They knew full well they were going under but still took our money and delivered half a kitchen. Would very much like a face to face meeting with anybody related to this company. Any ideas of a contact would be gratefully received.

We understand that a new Company, Infinity Kitchens, may be honouring the promise. Although we are very sceptical, as the same director runs Infinity that previously ran Di Lusso fitted kitchen, and I have been told that numerous members of personnel are exactly the same and they run out of the exact same premises and show rooms. We still hope this is all above board, but it is looking increasingly unlikely. Into the bargain, the contact numbers for Infinity Kitchens did not work. Feel free t ...

The Di Lusso fitted kitchen was meant to be fitted on 19th August 2006, but no one turned up. Three days later they did but the order was not complete and we're still waiting, now 25th September 2006, and I found out receivers are in Manchester office, don"t know what's going on!

We handed over quite a large sum of money to Di Lusso Kitchens around a month ago. We heard absolutely nothing about when our kitchen was arriving, so over the past few days we have tried to get in touch with them, only to find, the numbers we had were disconnected, and half of them just rang out with no answer. Our salesman Phil Walker, got in touch with us yesterday, out of the blue to tell us that Di Lusso has gone into liquidation. We have no idea if we can reclaim any money, and have anothe ...
