My phone arrived on time but it developed a fault within 6 months and over the past year i had to restore it to factory settings couple of times! but my major gripe with this company is that its been ONE year since my contract ended (the one i bought from them!) and its been 18 months and still waiting for my cash back!! Mobile Shop. Initially they delivered phone and sim/contract on time. I never received any cash back. First two claims were overdue by 4 months or more, even after chasing them several times. I finally managed to convert them into vouchers. For the remaining claims I went directly for the vouchers as I thought there was no hope. And I don't like or don't usually need any of the shops they offer vouchers for. Fortunately they have random offers with say M&S or Asda so at least I could buy food....

Both myself and my wife bought phones from mobileshop. We have both had to chase them for every cachback payment. They say they will pay in 60 days but they have been overdue. My latest claim is over 90 days old and I am still waiting. I have contacted them twice about this and they just keep saying they are processing all claims manually and would I like some vouchers instead? The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Would not recommend to anybody....

HI, I have used mobile shop last year. Obviously like you all, I checked the reviews etc and that found them to be the best(worth taking risk). I have to admit the customer service was much better than what other people experirnce with Carphone , e2save etc. Being a techie, i sent my cashback claims via email (scanned copies) and they accepted it. Only issue was that they didn't pay any cash-back, but replaced that with Argos vouchers. I was satisfied with it( something is better than nothing...)...

Bought the phone on line, quick delivery. When it came to paying cashback it was another matter. Did not receive replies to emails and kept saying system is down and will have to process claims manually and would take time and would not commit to date as to receiving cashback. I suggest contacting ISIS as per the logo on mobileshop's site on the left hand side. I hope this helps....

I agree that Mobile Shop takes AGES to pay cash for their cashback offer but why not try receiving a cash back voucher instead? It comes in the form of a gift card and since I have had my gift card I have received credit onto it within 30 days of every claim I have made. I chose Argos/Homebase as I have just moved into my first house but there are options for all sorts of high street stores and you would only be spending your cash there anyway? Definitely worth a try....

Try to offer vouchers instead of paying up. My latest cashback is over 100 days late. They say around 60 days after receiving claim. Even now, they cannot give me a date for payment. Use OneStopPhoneShop I have used these on another phone for 3 years now and they always pay up. I am going to pursue them shortly using Money Claim Online. I got a mobile phone through this company as the offer was 11 months free line rental out of 18 months. This "company" is having a laugh. They offer cheap deals on mobile phones, with generous cashback offers, but they never deliver on their promises. I had to wait 5 months for my first two cashback payments and the second two still haven't been paid! Their cashback system is utterly atrocious, and despite complying with their instructions, I had to fight tooth and nail for every payment. Claims were paid only after I kicked up a massive fuss, and each claim was at least two months late (and I was one of the fortunate ones!). Mobileshop rejected my first cashback claim as it was beyond thirty days of the bill date, this despite me explaining I had to get a copy invoice from the provider as original was not received. They don't bother contacting you to explain this, either. The 30 day rule just seems to be to avoid paying their cashback to customers. Their customer service people seem hapless and unable to provide customer service. I won't be using them again, nor would I recommend them....

I am very unhappy with Mobileshop regarding their slackness to redeem my cashback (each cashback voucher was sent back in the appropriate time), and their impersonal generic emails telling of their technical difficulties when trying to chase the money up and no information on a rough timeframe that would fix the problem. I havn't received the last 3 of my 4 cashback payments. One of these is from November 2006 - OVER 12 MONTHS!!! This is definitely not good enough even with your 'technical difficulties'....

Mobileshop.com are very very quick in signing you up to their services, and even in delivering your new phone. They make out that you are getting a very good deal, and if they followed through with it, it would be a good deal. But try claiming cashback from them and you will struggle! Every one admits that today's life seems to be high priced, but different people need cash for different stuff and not every person gets enough cash. Therefore to receive fast loan or just consolidation loans will be a right solution.
