My husband and I recently booked a trip to Cancun through Vacations To Go. Vacations to Go accepted our money and booked our trip. I didn't find out until later that they passed the reservation off to Apple Vacations. VTG completely screwed up our reservation but took zero responsibility for it. The hotel didn't even have a record of our reservation! We booked our trip for nine days, eight nights. Somewhere along the way, the booking agent changed our reservation to seven nights and didn't let us know. We did not request this. Our flights reflected our original travel plans and VTG knew our flights. We ended up having to pay for the eighth night - again - before we left the hotel. VTG
PROVIDES HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I spoke to a customer service manager and still got nowhere. This was the worst trip of our lives!!!

Once Vacations to Go take your credit card, you're stuck and if you withdraw, you incur a 90% penalty. They advertise a too good to be true price, get you hooked, confirm one price and then call you back in a few days with almost DOUBLE TO ADVERTISED PRICE! The agent was rude and did not divulge all the terms of the contract...will never use them again after losing my entire deposit of $1500. Still waiting for American Express to dispute charges. Their website is deceptive, their agents not for ...

This, along with many other travel agencies is a pass through device for ship's trying to sell cabins. I do not recommend Vacation to Go. I have been troubled recently and before with their expertise (just sales) and helping individuals with true, identifiable problems. It is in the best interest of them just to "sell", and making your trip easier becomes a "more money" situation, or applied cancellation or change fees. Heck, just go to the cruise line and by all means, get trip insurance. ...

The Ritz-Carlton package we brought was based on the information on your website. That same information on the Vacations to Go is still there today. It is untrue, there has never been 5 Restaurants included in their All-Inclusive package, or as they call it Escape to Luxury Package. The Jasmine restaurant was close in December of last year. The White Witch Steakhouse was never included according to the hotel management. The White Witch was by far the finest restaurant of the ones you had ...

Vacations To Go, our travel agent, allowed Princess Cruises to book an impossible flight schedule on Delta Airlines to South America, and would not change it without more money insisting it was a ' legal ' connection (40 minutes in Atlanta- that turned our to be 22 minutes since Delta measures their arrival time when wheels touch down !!), missed flight because airline was overbooked and Delta had closed door. Did not get luggage until end of cruise. VTG and Princess told me I should have bou ...

My daughter and I planned a trip to Cancun for March, high season for spring break. The hotel Hotetur was good, average food selection was acceptable. The aminitaes were average , out door pool and directly on the beach. My compliant is for Vacations to Go and who wver the have for a wholesaler. They raise the cost of the nightly room to $170pp ,when the room cost $90. with meals and beverages. The ground transfer folks were not there to pick us up or take us back to the airport. I have worked with Vacations to Go a number of times and they always treat me well. You actually speak to real agents, and if there is a problem, mgt. will go above bar to help and get things done! A member of staff took care of basic questions and 1 big problem I had.

I have been wanting to go on a cruise and have to travel alone. There are times you do not have a partner and not always want to share a room with a female friend. I am very annoyed that you have to pay double to go on a cruise because you have to travel alone. I had friends that are a couple and had offered me to travel with them, great idea but find out that I will have to pay the same price as them ecept for the flight. I find this awful. Why can there not be special rates for people travelli ...

We had our first major problem with them this year in that we booked a specific cabin on a Princess Ship to Norway. Princess decided to, (so called), upgrade us without letting us know. They just sent a fax to VTG. VTG did not pick this up and we did not find out until we reached the ship. This spoiled our holiday as we had booked the cabin for a specific purpose. Apparently this upgrading happens quite often. We had never experienced this before and have learned a valid lesson. IF YOU BOOK A SP ...

The site is very easy to use. The prices are extremely competitive. Friendly personnel and ready to help.
We decided to go on a cruise for the first time. We chose costa cruises which at the time were very well priced. We took a transatlantic cruise of 17 days. We enjoyed ourselves and felt that it was well worth the money.

The web page has a very good search feature for finding the best cruise at the best price. Then you call and get a agent that finishes the booking. We have booked more than ten trips with Vacations to Go www.vacationstogo.com and every one has gone with out a problem.

I have used them for lots of cruise vacations and generally never see a ticket other than an email confirming the booking.

I usually book last minute and book our own flights/car.

They have a vacations to go resort site, where you can book Sandles and the like for around $100 a night 5star. AI

I have even booked a Southampton Cruise to the Med via them for $1000 dollars last Summer for 15days 5***** Royal Caribean.

Boy I love this dollar rate.
Have a nice day and you be carefull out there, ...

After purchasing my wifes and my vacation through V-T-G, I waited 2 weeks and several phone calls to their "Customer Service" staff asking where my documents were. Upon receipt of the documents I found that they had booked our flight with us not sitting together. I had to pay an additional $30 direct to American to shuffle our seats. Nope, VTG did not offer an apology, excuse or offer to reimburse me...but did promise to call me back upon researching what happened...still awaiting that call (4-w ...

I found Vacations to Go when booking my cruise in August 2004 on one of the Disney ships. V2G are a clearance house based in Houston Texas, for cruises starting from and finishing at just about every port in the World. The search combinations on their site are brilliant, when you find the way to use them to your advantage. One of the best features are their '90-day Ticker' bargains, which are great if you are able to arrange your travel almost at the last minute. PLEASE REMEMBER WHEN VIEWING PRI ...
