We just had a visit from the "sale" reps following a cold call from a call center.

Result - I had to CALL POLICE to get the two guys out of my flat!

This is an extortionist scham scheme! They started off polite and nice giving a nice story about a "free" kitchen in exchange for turning our flat in their show room. They asked a lot of questions of private and personal nature (personal details, history, about security, ownership, employment, when property is empty, etc...). When asked for any form of ID or business cards - they had none.

I agree with the person who said do not let them into your house! I would not even advise my worst enemy to deal with Space Kitchens. They promise a speedy, professional installation of the highest quality tailor made kitchen units and appliances and then spend six months lying to you, treating you like idiots, trying to get youto accept sub-standard workmanship or...completely ignoring you. After ordering a kitchen that cost over £20,000 in January, I am still waiting for it to be finishe ...

When I read the reviews on here about Space Kitchens I cancelled my order as I was concerned about the bad press and complaints they have received. However, after reading simular reports about B&Q Kitchens and Morben Kitchens I decided that people usually only post when they want to complain, and very rarely when praise is due. So I pressed on and used Space Kitchens, albeit very nervous about the outcome - and I am so pleased I did! The fitters (a father and son team from Bristol) were just bri ...

Don't ever allow these people in to your home!!
They are very rude, unprofessional and they take up at least 3 hours of your time. He never introduced himself, no business card - nothing!
You have to sign up with them there and then, they wont leave you any literature or a quote. The "rep" we had was very agressive and extremely rude when we said we wanted to think about it..............my partner had to escort him from the premises at 10 o'clock at night as he basically refused to leave and i ...

What a right bunch of clowns!

I agreed a price (£12,000 down to £7,500) for full installation of a new kitchen.

When the designer arrived several items previously agreed were not on the agreement, which I questioned. I spoke to the manager on the phone and was greeted by a torrent of abuse and accusations that left me speechless.

Needless to say I cancelled my contrat and stopped my deposit cheque.

I would NEVER use these clowns to fit out my toilet - let alone my kitchen!

    Stee ...

hello, i would just like to say how rubbish my Space Kitchens has been.
the last straw is being unable to use my tap!
    i have not even had it in 3 years and this is just some of the things wrong;

my tap handle just snapped off, (although it has been leaking ever since it was fitted)
my husband had to seal around the hob himself,
my husband has had to seal the sink in himself,
the dishwasher keeps tripping out the electricity, (although it hasnt ever worked properly)
my cupboards have LOTS of ch ...

Had my space kitchen fitted in 2006 the rep was in my home for about 4 hours. I was told that if I brought the kitchen on finace then I would not have a deposit. I signed on the dotted line and the kitchen was delivered. Too cut a long story short kitchen was fitted then it took them over a month of calls and letters to fix things that had not be done. I was also told that my intergrated washing machine can be pulled out and be repaired easyly but this was not the case as i have had problems wit ...

We were called by space kitchens last week saying that they were looking to supply a 'free' kitchen in our area and that it would be put into their magazine, we were thinking of having a new kitchen anyway and didn't have anything to lose by having someone come and quote.
A rep arrived an hour late at 6pm, We set her down at the kitchen table and talked through what we would like as they provided a 'bespoke service', although it soon became apparent that if it is not in the brochure then they ...

OH my god I am still shaken up by what I experienced by space kitchens and can see many people have had the same experience. They need to be shut down. The rep arrived at 7pm and we had guests arriving at 7.30pm as didnt expect it to take that long. It was the 1st quote we had got so had no intention of signing anything that day. At 9pm the guy was still designing the kitchen. We had told him politely to hurry up 5 times. At 9.30 he gave us a ridiculous price of 12k for a 2.5 meter square kitche ...

Had a visit from the Space Kitchens "designer" following a cold call, very pleasant, nice man, but after 2 1/2 hours was absolutely nowhere near getting a quote. Asked him to leave and then had a short, unpleasant chat with his "manager" who i had to put the phone down on, as I was not going to order a kitchen there and then.
What planet are these people on?

Never, ever, under any circumstances, order any product from someone who cold calls you without doing some background research into them a ...

The sales technique was bad enough but the dream kitchen I paid for is diabolicle. It took 9 WEEKS to complete the installation of a small kitchen, they damaged more of it than they installed first time. Customer Services and managemernt don't have a clue, they hang up on you on the phone, don't ring back when they say they will, blame the shape of your house walls because they can't fit things properly anf they're electrical expertise is definitely suspect. For your own sake don't let Space Kit ...

I have just had a cold call from 'myhousegroup' who then turned out to be 'space kitchens'. The person who 'cold'-called me did not know my name and spoke very softly and indistinctly, I had to ask her to repeat herself many times. Then another person rang who was extremely assertive over the phone, and in fact half way through the conversation turned and yelled to someone in the office without even saying 'excuse me'. When I told her we were not available to see her either today or tomorrow ...

My husband received a cold call from SPACE Kitchens whilst at home one day. We were at initial stages of discussing renovating our kitchen. He was told that if he accepted seeing a Rep that same night we would get 50-60% discount with a free appliance of our choice (too good to be true?) and the quote was valid for 24 months. He agreed, as we would only be looking at proceeding in about 8 months time. The Rep arrived promptly at 7pm, very friendly guy but seemed put out that my husband had been ...

Space KitchensI was referred to them by http://www.kitchenbuyersguide.com/ who seem to be a representative of Quotatis (http://www.quotatis.co.uk/). The woman called me to say she would put me in touch with 3 local suppliers.I asked her how they choose them and she said they register with their site and if they get any complaints then theyget wiped off. So I though that was fine and agreed to her sending 3 suppliers round. The call centre guy from Space Kitchens telephoned me almost straight away ...

Dreadful experience with Space Kitchens, stressful, I don't have my dream kitchen. Fitted in February 2008, I was not happy with the quality of units or the standard of fitting. After they arrived to tell me I was using too much water in the kitchen which is why the chipboard was warping. Then told company didn't exist anymore, then found out bought out, now can not get new company to talk to me though I have been told twice someone in authority will contact me. Frustrated.

Space Kitchens - Very High pressure and clever technique for getting you to agree to buy from them at their first visit, after hours of measuring and making a colour drawing to make you feel 'obliged' Then he strong sales technique starts and calls to mangers for price reductions - we could hardly stop ourselves from laughing BUT are VERY concerned that less experianced or less forceful people MUST be taken in - or they would change their sales techniqueLooks reasonable quality but is TOTALLY ...

Recieved a call form a rep from Space Kitchens and as i was lookin to have my kitchen done accepted the request for a rep to vist, as many have said already, the sales pitch is tremendously tedious as im didnt really care bout company history, i wanted to knw what the deal was and how much it was going to set me back. due to lenghy process of the pitch, the rep had to return the next day with which he bought a colleague (area manager supposedly) who after a bit of number crunchin quoted a price ...

The sales people from Space Kitchens have been prompt and arrived on time for scheduled meetings. I have had three salesmen visit. Starting price quoted £17K. I have now agreed at £6,400. This does not instill confidence but feel I have got a good deal. Fingers crossed for the rest of the service.

The salesperson was reasonable and quite informative but overstayed welcome until got order (which was a forgone conclusion ) we had agreed to the kitchen but she still insisted on giving company life story, the kitchen was delivered as promised but the fitter was unsatisfactory, we were not pleased with his workmanship or time keeping and since having kitchen fitted our water pressure seems to have more than doubled which hsa caused lots of problems and expense due to pipe joints blowing ( the ...
