    Bad Points: not close enough to where I live or I would be there every day


    General comments: Great menu and great service. Such a nice change to have a decent restaurant in bedford. When food came it was fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The decor is amazing you can tell they have really spent the money.

    A well thought out menu and lovely surroundings make for a great night out. I recommend the snug area with the leather sofas and funky decor, very romantic area of the restaurant. We were there for a special occasion and we will be back.

    I'm not surprised this place was three quarters empty at 8pm on a Saturday night. I thought the food was pretty awful; the cod dish was overloaded with parmesan, the duck was terribly overcooked and in a horrible sauce, one steak dish was underdone and all portions very small with no accompanying vegetables. One of our party had their dish served 20 minutes after everyone else and when we complained, the staff seemed extremely argumentative with us. We had the front table by the window so eve ...

    The food is a good standard, but be aware that the price of drinks borders on excessive, £2.20 for a glass of lemonade for a child is scandalous. You also have to order off the main menu as there is no children's menu, for that reason our next trip will be adults only.

    Italian style , informal , relaxed restaurant . Plenty of staff , no delays , good food and quite varied .

    We were at Four for a friends birthday, and one of the waiters even sprinkled sparkles over the table for my friends birthday! Would definitely go again (soon hopefully)!

    4 is a fantastic restaurant. When I heard that they were attempting London standards I was sceptical but was delighted with the whole experience. The food was fantastic, my wife had Veal which was wonderfully presented and tasted great, I had Chicken Cacciatora which was the same, I would recommend to anyone.
