I just tried this stuff...it seems alright, but it dont smell too pleasnt. Its strong at first, but then it fades after awhile. It went on easily and absorbed into the skin quikly. It is a bit sticky though.Ill just spray on some perfume to cover the smell LOL. Left my skin feeling soft. I havnt used it long enough to see it has made my skin firmer. I hope it dont leave streak marks. I tried a different brand a long time ago. I think it was L'oreal. That stuff smelt nice and wasnt... (read more)

While I was initially very pleased with fragrance and results, I began to notice an unpleasant body odor any time I get hot, exercise or go outside. I thought it was just my overactive imagination until my husband commented on a change in my scent when I returned from my daily walk. My skin also became very dry and rough feeling. So my opinion has changed from favorable to very unfavorable. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Has anyone else noticed the odor issue?? (read more)

the reason why this works for some and not for others, just like some other tanning lotions, is because everyone's skins is differrent. And therefore, everyone's skin will react differently to a product. You just have to use the tanning lotion that works for you. Personally, this is one of the best one of them out there, I think, for an easy gradual tan, which is easy to apply evenly, and has a natural, non-orangy color.
You just have to try several and select the one you like best. ... (read more)

I love the consistency of this tanner. Other lotions are thick, gooey, and take forever to dry, but this is a light cream that dries quickly, yet moisturizes the skin. It does not irritate after shaving and gives a gradual, believable color. Best of all is the scent! it is a very light, fresh scent, not at all the "self tanner scent" that I cannot stand!!! And not to mention, great price too :) (read more)

The tan is very gradual, it doesn't come overnight. It took 7-8 days for me to notice any major color change. I am using the light to medium tanner. I notice I am a bit firmer but I also use 2 other firming lotions alongside this.
The smell is HORRIBLE. Absolutely disgusting and the most vile smell I have ever encountered with a skin care produce. It's also a cross between creamy and greasy in texture. Greasy much like actual sun tan lotion, creamy much like yogurt. Once dry, there is no... (read more)

Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming is the most effective tanning agent I have used. Its gradual and builds up each application so there is no chance of overdoing it and looking like an orange skin colour. Its not over priced like some products with fancy names that claim all sorts of clever thing. Its not the first time I have used Nivia products having used the spray lotion with quicker but excellent natural tan. (read more)

I have very pale skin, this Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming turned me golden. No streaks. Just smooth skin with a nice color. Glad it has no glitter etc. The smell reminds me of baby oil/caramel candy. Not strong and very nice. Other tanning lotions smell strong and make it hard to even fall asleep because of the smell. this is suttle and pleasant. I purchased the light one and realized I should use the medium to dark because it wasnt dark enough. Now I mix both the light and... (read more)

Great product. I have tried many self tanning lotions after realizing how bad the sun is. I love Nivea Sunkissed. Although, it does not work well with sports...comes off streaky. But can't complain. (read more)

I'm fishbelly-pale, and Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming worked well for me. You have to be very careful to really rub the product in and get it evenly distributed, or it *will* streak. A little goes a long way if you're applying every day, as the instructions ask you to. I used this on the undersides of my arms too, and it looks better there than on my (now streaked) ultra-white legs. The fragrance reminds me of baby wipes, though. (read more)

Nothing "gradual" about Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming. Applied it only twice, about 35 hours apart, and already the morning after the second time my legs looked "fake-tan-orange". I don't dare put it on a third day. (read more)

I bought two (regtangular shaped) bottles of nivea sunkissed medium-dark back in summer 2008 for roughly £7.99 for 2 bottles.
i'm from the UK but was in australia for a month visiting, and knew that i didn't have a hope in hell of getting a tan in their winter. therefore i bought this sunless tanner 'cause it was cheap and smelled nicer than others i've tried.
I applied this producted almost every day after showering, and let it dry for 10 minutes before getting dressed. i started... (read more)

Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming is excellent value for money that should have competitors running back to the drawing board;
I like the consistency as opposed to thicker creams not only does it go further it is easier to apply lessening streaks as I tend to get with the creamy applications, after the first application you know how to get it right.
Firming lives up to its name and noticeable after the first application.
I have tried every Sunless Tanning product that has arrived... (read more)

Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming - My boyfriend accused me of tanning in the sun and being a hypocrite because I am constantly complaining that the sun will damage his skin if he keeps tanning. Little did he know mine was 100% sunless. Best product I've ever tried (read more)

Never used fake tan before but having read the good reviews I thought why not give it a try, in the past I have used sun beds but as my skin is fairly light and with the risk of skin cancer I gave them up. I put my first application on yesterday morning and it covered well a few patches on my hand but as the colour is a light shade no one would notice, so last night being the impatient person I am I put my 2nd application on.
And today the 3rd. I think I have learned from the 1st application... (read more)

I was really pleased with this product. I've tried a lot of other self-tanners before and they all made me look orange. This one has a gradual tanner so that you get a little more color each time you apply. I've tried Jergens Glow, Equate Glow, and Loreal Gel self tanner....They all made me look orange and they streaked. (read more)

Really love Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming and the colour (I used the darker one) after five days or so is gorgeous, really looks like a proper tan, a really good colour. I have used a fake tan but absolutely hated it, it lasted for ages and faded really patchy a horrible product I have rated this elsewhere on the review centre. Up to press I much prefer the gradual tanners because they seem to fade more evenly and this is a brilliant one. (read more)

I've been using this product for months, I tried it because it was on special offer at Home Bargains and you got a free facial tanner. They seem to have run out of stock now so I'm trying 'simple summer look body lotion' instead which is only 99p.

Having read previous reviews I thought I would try this product for myself. I have a big weekend coming up and the legs are getting their first airing of the year. [scary thought].
I nipped into Semi Chem and managed to pick up a bargain. £1.99 for a bottle with a tube of Nivea Visage facial tanner thrown in. You can buy Fair to Medium or Medium to Dark. I chose Fair to Medium, for although I tan quite well, I had that blue, fireside tartan thing going on after a long Winter.

Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming is the first fake tan I've used, and I've been really pleased with it. I have a pale Celtic skin, and it gives a lovely healthy glow - not orange at all. There are no streaks or smears; just avoid areas with dry skin, such as knees, which will go a darker shade. The smell is gorgeous, and it really moisturises the skin. I've used it after sunbathing to "fill in" the white marks left by a swimsuit, and it really does the job well. (read more)
