Good Points: My local depot were very friendly and helpful and got through to them by phone very quickly.Very friendly driver who went out of his way to help me.My fragile package was undamaged and kept dry.
Bad Points: None at all. My experience was surprisingly problem free.
General comments: You may not believe this but I have just had a very pleasant experience with Business Post. I nipped to the local shop to get something to eat at 8.00 am and in the 10 minutes I was out the driver had attempted delivery and left a card. I phoned the number of my local hub in Manchester and got through in under a minute. I spoke to a very helpful man and explained that I have just missed the delivery by minutes and could he see if the driver was still in the area. He put me on hold for a few minutes and came back saying he'd asked the driver if he could nip back. I was told unfortunatley he wasn't in the area any more and he'd try and get back to me this afternoon. I was dubious if he'd actually spoke to anyone but gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. (UPS and ParcelForce have said the same before now and never come back). Low and behold the driver turned up at 12.40pm with my package, sticking to the next day delivery commitment they had made. He was very friendly and was very thankful to him for going out of his way to re-deliver when he didn't have to. It was after all, my fault for going out. I could just be lucky with the driver I got or maybe it's that I live in Manchester, In my opinion, one of the friendliest places on earth. Or maybe it's that the majority of people who have successful deliveries never bother to post a review and that the 5% of failed deliveries vent their anger on here. Either way I am very happy with them.

Business Post Ltd are beyond appaling. The company I ordered from charged me £7 for day delivery, using Business Post. I had never had anything delivered from them before so I wasn't expecting anything. Business Post have, on two separate occasions, completely failed to make a named day delivery. After waiting in for most of the day I was told that the order may, or may not, be out for delivery but they could not really tell me. This pathetic excuse for customer service demonstrates the utter contempt in which they hold their customers.

Everything seemed to be going as planned and I was very excited about getting my package, and as a first-time customer, I thought "what could possibly go wrong?" Over the past four months we have made over a hundred phone calls to Business Post trying to sort out a billing issue where they keep overcharging us. We have to check every invoice and every line item every month. They have NEVER billed us an invoice correctly.
Their customer service is poor. I feel their customer service is basically just an information line, they offer me little help.

Business Post could not find a simple address. After 2 attempts with 2 different drivers. we are not that hard to find.These guys are very poor and have kept me on hold for 20 miutes with no answer.

I had ordered 3 bottles of wine, in total I have had 10 bottles of wine sent to me.
First 3 were "destroyed"
Second 3 were "signed for by a neighbour" and were not there
Third 3 were sent to my work address and 1 bottle was missing.
Today I await the 10th bottle sent, if delivered it will be 70% loss on the part of the wine company, that is not good business and for me it leaves a trust issue with Business Post.

Business Post Ltd. are possibly the worst courier service I have used out there and this is the third time I have had to use them. Be very aware when ordering anything that has to be delivered by these couriers, this includes any DELL products. 3 people from business post took my phone number and assured me that someone would call within an hour of arrival and that a PM delivery would most likely be late PM. When I received the email for my shipping telling me Business Post were in charge of delivering it, my heart sank. It is now a week after my next day date has passed. Turns out it had been damaged. Everything Business Post do is extremely poor. Usual story: waiting around for the 8 - 6 time slot, only for the parcel not to arrive. Phoned the contact number at 5:50 to be told the office closed at 5:30. Waited until the morning to be told the driver had left a card as nobody was home. This didn't happen as I was at home all day. Waiting in for a "next day" delivery, parcel didn't arrive. Tracking the parcel, I noticed that it had been put on the van but the van returned to the depot without attempting to deliver it!!!! OK so I had problems with them and they will only try to deliver once, however when they messed up the driver made amends.
I was in on the first day as agreed, however when the driver come with the second part one day later and there was nobody at home he called me on my mobile and I arranged with him to drive a mile down the road and deliver it to my parents house instead. Someone should explain to Business post, what next day delivery is supposed to mean. I order a lot of stuff on the Internet and usually the delivery times are satisfactory especially with Royal mail.
This lot are hopeless, latest parcel picked up by Business post on the 6th July, eventually delivered on the 24th July. Tracking shows they couldn't find address, so it was left in Bournemouth warehouse all that time. Valid address on the parcel, plus, my phone number, what more do they want.

Business Post Ltd have an admin credit control dept where nobody speaks English to a level that can be construed as audible. You find yourself checking every delivery they do through the invoices that arrive after you receive a stop warning. When you speak to anyone they pass you on to someone else. I've never seen a manager from Business Post, and we spend £900 per month with them.
