Good Points: soft denim, nicely priced
General comments: Make Your Own Jeans are wonderful, I read about them in Oprah's Magazine and have already placed a second order, I absolutely love them, they fit amazingly, the material is great feeling i love them. its is IMPOSSIBLE to find jeans that fit me well. Well i found my place...i plan on ordering enough that i have a pair for every day of the week. Customer service was great and professional, and delivery time was very quick!

It took almost two months to receive my order. I thought the jeans were tight in the thigh area. I measured a thigh of the jeans and I found it to be smaller than the measurements I stated originally. I contacted the company. The employee I spoke to requested that I send pictures. I sent pictures showing how the thigh area was smaller than my measurements submitted and they suggested that I measured wrong. I told them that regardless whether I measured wrong, I still sent them measurements large ...

The jeans I got didn't fit. The company won't take them back, so basically I paid $65 to try on a pair of jeans. Use this company at your own risk!

The jeans I ordered were clearly made much too big I even sent photos to prove it. And they still insisted it was my fault.

I got my first pair back in May.That pair fit like a glove! I made a few adjustments to my new order of 2 pair (due to stretching of the jeans throughout the day) and they fit AWESOME!! OH MY GOODNESS!!I am a 6' tall chick with 36" inseam 27 inch waist and a 39 inch Bootay!!!I can NEVER find pants to fit.Oh sure, I could go to Gap and find a pair that were long enough but when I brought em home and washed them IN COLD WATER and LINE dried them (and who wants to do all that to their jeans?) they ...

Good points, that I got a pair of jeans that fit!! Bad points, I Could have got them a bit longer (but its my fault for not measuring them longer) Overall, it took about a month, but it was worth the wait.

They believe they can build a business without any customer communication. I emailed them to ask a question 6 weeks ago...no response.I decided I would take a chance and just order, as it seems that some of those who have done business with harry fashions (doing business as makeyourownjeans.com) have been satisfied with the final product.I placed the order. I NEVER find jeans that fit in the stores. I am short and have Jay-Lo hips so I always have a gap in the waist .
I have to try at least a dozen pair and end up buying some jeans which are either too loose in the waist or tight in the legs.
But not with my new jeans from Makeyourownjeans.com, they lets me enter my measurements and I get what I want within 2 weeks.
I have got my best fitting jeans and chinos from Makeyourownjeans and will continue to buy from them as long as they are in business.

As a 5'10" woman with spectacularly long legs and a shorter than average waist, finding jeans that fit has been a decades-long obsession. If the inseam is long enough to reach the floor, then the waistband ends up around my ribcage. If I find a pair that fit my slim-but-wide midsection, then I have an abundance of excess denim dangling from my hips and tush.
And yes, I'm acquainted with all the Glamour Dos & Don'ts, the What Not To Wears, and the various daytime Makeover shows. But no one eve ...

If things go right for you, then Make Your Own Jeans would be great. But, if they get it wrong, their customer service is not good. I have seen enough comments by others on various sites to now know that my experience is not unusual.

I have ordered several pairs of jeans/pants in the last couple of months and I'm continually amazed at how well they fit and the quality! I've never been able to find "store" jeans before that fit me well, but since discovering you... I'll never have to labor over jeans/pants shopping again! I plan to place my 5th order later this weekend!

I am sure there are others on here who struggle to buy jeans for themselves, as they are either too long in the leg, or too short, or baggy or too tight on the thighs, or like me having a big bottom, I have to buy a large waist, so I have masses to pull in with a belt.
Anyway, whilst browsing on eBay a few weeks ago, I found a seller selling Made to Measure jeans, and I decided rather than going through eBay I would go direct to the Make Your Own Jeans website.
