Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back - They were second fiddle in Clerks; they were disposable in Mallrats; they were mates to Holden and Banky in Chasing Amy; they were integral to the story in Dogma; and now they finally get a movie to themselves. Kevin Smith may have gone all sentimental on us with Jersey Girl, but this film is hilarious. The leads of the title - hilariously played by Jason Mewes and Smith himself - do not get annoying or repetitive once in the whole film.
The plot (like you care) has them trying to stop a film being made about them that ruins their good names. On the road to Hollywood, they get into various escapades, from a Scooby Doo reference to stealing a monkey to invading Hollywood.
Funny the dynamic duo are, they are joined by a whole load of cameos from Smith regulars -
Ben Afflek (as himself and Holden McNeil); Matt Damon (as himself); the hilarious Will Ferrel (as a wild-life ranger); Jason Lee (as Mallrats` Brodie Bruce and Chasing Amy`s Banky Edwards); Chris Rock (as a racist film director); plus Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Sean William Scott. James Van der Beek and Jason Biggs all have a laugh. It may be crude ("YOU are the ones who are the ball-lickers) but it`s still funnier than the last American Pie. Kev, I hope you bring the duo back for another movie.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was the greatest movie ever! Have you ever wanted to see a movie that just blows you away...that makes you wonder what life is all about? After seeing this movie, my whole world perspective was improved. I guarantee that this movie will not only make you laugh, but will help you understand certain things that didn't make sense to you before.
