Good Points: Fairly fast cycle and is very clear and easy to use my other half has even managed to use it!

Bad Points: Can't seem to go for more then 3 months without breaking down.

General comments: I have had this Whirlpool AWM5145 for 1 year and half it broke down within the first 3 months, waited 3 weeks for engineer to fix and has broken down every 3 months at least. In the year and half I have owned this machine it has spent more time being broken then actually working. so far we are on the 5th call out and I would not recommend especially as it has took the whirlpool engineers usually 3 weeks before they can even come to look at it. If looking to purchase I do not recommend however if you do I would suggest taking out insurance on it to cover you for break downs.

This is my first owned Whirlpool product and will be the last. I have only had this washing machine for 2 years and with daily use has developed a noisy spin. The engineer said it would cost around £200 to repair. Decided to dispose and buy a new one that will not be Whirlpool!

I got the Whirlpool AWM5145/2 washing machine, which is the 1200rpm spin model.
I picked this up from Costco for about £230. I could have got it online for about £190, but I decided that if I ever needed to return it, Costco would be the easier option. Besides, the old one had packed up, and with delivery times of up to 2 weeks, this seemed the best bet.
