Good Points: Graphics. Replayability. Tuning. Custom Soundtracks. Sound.
Bad Points: No Exterior Tuning. Easy... too easy.
General comments: This game was one of the first on Xbox and I got it free with my Xbox along with Halo.... but I played this more. You start off with a small cash sum of £13,000, leaving you to buy a starting car... the main choices being a 206 or a punto... pick your car.... race! The game loads up exceptionally quick and launches you into a graphically rich race track alongside 5 other vehicles.... 1..2..3.. go... you speed off! The game has all the workings of a normal racing game but better. As the race starts and tyres start turning you hear a techno beat tune which plays throughout the race... which gets rather annoying. So turn off your Xbox, take out the game and put in that favourite album of yours. Load it into your Xbox, take it out and replace it with Sega GT and get back to where you were... but this time choose the album of your choice in the sound menu... the racing suddenly has a very different feel. You are racing along with your favourite tune integrated into the game. The feel is so good.. especially later in the game where you have cars maxxing out at 300+km/h! The cars are as slow or as fast as they should be.. and even faster when you tune them up with turbos and such. The game allows you to throw your car around corners with ease yet style...making you feel good and has you tuning up cars just so you can see what they are like to drive fast... its great. Not many people find much replayability in this game but I have apparently spent (according to my save file) 100 hours playing this game... now you tell me that isn't a game that has been played over and over. The sound is thorough and when plugged into a decent sound system, really bounces around the room to make it sound like your at the races. So you can't do your cars exteriors up... and once you get the nack the game is too easy.. but its all fun. You will like the ease of the game because it makes the money roll in quicker.. honestly, if you don't have this game get it. It sells for around £10 in places so you can't really go wrong.

Sega GT 2002 - This game is great with its looks and its gameplay. The only problem with it is that there is not that much you can put on the car and you can't put exterior or interior objects to make your car look nice, e.g., spoilers, body kit, etc.
In all, this game is ok but not for the street-racer-type person.
If you are looking for a good street racing game, get Need for Speed Underground!
