    Bad Points: very poor despatch information - i hope tesco and woolworth are aware of how badly this company is run.


    General comments: Wanting to order a DS game for a birthday gift I placed an order via Tesco.com, and the despatch date came up as 3 days. After five days the account page showed the order was awaiting picking, I queried this by e-mail explaining the game was for a gift and was advised this would be despatched the following day. At 10pm the following day the game was still awaiting picking, so I cancelled the order. I then found Woolworths.com were selling the same product cheaper, and as the despatch date came up as 2 days I ordered from there. However the order confirmation said 3 to 4 days. I went back into the account which stated picking was anticipated in SIX days. As both Tesco and Woolworths order pages were identical I checked the Terms and Conditions and found 'The Hut' despatches for both companies. In future I will be checking websites before ordering and if goods are despatched by 'The Hut' I will NOT be placing an order!

    The Hut has been very slow to dispatch my item. I'd rather pay more in future and know when the product is going to arrive.

    Was a little sceptical to order from thehut.com after reading some of the reviews but thought I'd give them a try as they were the cheapest, and I was pleasantly surprised!

    The cd arrived within the stated timeframe (7-10 days, direct from the supplier), was in perfect condition (cd + jewel case) and was adequately packaged, in a jiffy bag. And they provided 2 or 3 emails to show progression through the order stages. A satisfied customer!

    I would never use this company. I ordered a ds game, which on the website said it was in stock. However, a few days later I got an email saying that there was a delay in my order (no explanation as to the delay) and that it would be dispatched the next week. Still didn't hear anything the next week and after a few email conversations it turns out that the item wasn't actually in stock in the first place and they could not tell me when it would be back in stock! So I decided to cancel the order ...

    I've often received used (unsealed and damaged) articles. My advice it to go to Amazon and pay a little bit more but you will get much better service.

    I stumbled across thehut.com via the net and well I wish I never did now - the reason being is that I made an order with them and it took about a week to arrive, fair enough. OK, once i got the DVD here is where the problem starts.

    I was sorely dissatisfied with the condition of it. When I opened the disc and checked it, there was many marks around the underside of it. The other side with the picture on the disc I noticed a long sharp scratch from the left to right.
