Once they have your cash, that is it. If you try to return something the website takes you round in circles. When you finally get to a point where you can send an email it is ignored completely. Still trying to get a reply. Avoid them would be my advice as there are so many choices out there they do not deserve your custom. (read more)

If you like gambling then by all means order from this website, and their sister site Zavvi, for upon opening your package that arrived weeks late you will find you may not have recieved what was advertised on the website. i find with hindsight this group is very misleading in their selling . but more so with their adverts for job vacancies. perminant does not mean that. it means when you get to near to the end of your 3 month contract trial period they give you a weeks notice. despite never being late or any sickness. saves them having to pay any hols or sickness pay. gives them a wide berth... to get more agency in at 0 contract hrs. I received an email stating that the order was despatched but when I tracked the order almost 24 hours later (halfway through the day it was due to be delivered), the courier website did not recognise the number. Ordered 3 items on 22/11/2012. All items say despatched on 24/11/12. On 06/12 I recvd an item which I never ordered! There phone lines are are disgrace. You hardly ever get through. This is the second time I have used "The Hut" and will now be the last. I have waited over two weeks for an item, not they tell me they are out of stock. Don't reply to emails. Have to wait for ever for them to answer the customer support lines (at 5p / minute). Don't use!!!!! There are so many good sites out there, so why would you waste your time. Where do you start with The Hut? They make it virtually impossible to find their returns online, having to in the end contact them for a 'returns number' over the phone, on an 0845 number @0.05p a minute. This of course is at least a 20-30 minute wait until someone answers. Phoned them in the end 3 times, costing me a total of £4.50 in calls that'll never get back. Don't be deceived by the website and the attractive prices! I have been trying to return shoes to exchange for a different size, and for this you need to request an authorisation number and address. Ordered a Wii U on the 7th December for next day delivery from the Hut.com. When it didn't turn up I was assured it would be with me over the weekend, it wasn't. I ordered a DVD box set last Friday for my boyfriend's birthday in the middle of next week. They supposedly take 2-5 days to deliver. However it is now Tuesday and I just been informed by The Hut that the item will be shipped in 48-72 hours!! I have had the exact same problem with them.
Number 1 complaint- I bought the groupon and then when I went to purchase from the hut, they asked to enter credit card details - no option of PayPal.
Number 2 - I made order on the 23rd of December and was meant to arrive before the 2nd of January. I have still not received it. I have emailed the hut 5 times and I have received 1 reply with no apology and that it should be with me by the 16th. I still haven't got it.
Number 3 - I rang their customer service which is in England and costs a fortune and was left holding for over 20 minutes , then a voice mail came on and said please email them my query and phone hung up. I have emailed and still no reply. Disgraceful service. Would advise no one to buy anything from them.

They automatically cancelled my order (presumably realising they didn't have stock of size 5) but STILL delivered and charged me for a pair of the WRONG size (size 3.5!). Like other reviews I had to return goods (a sweat shirt because I could not get it over my head). I followed the procedure and the item was tracked back to their warehouse on 23 November, I am still on 10 January waiting on a refund despite being told on 19 December the refund was on its way and would take 3-5 working days to reach my account. I ordered some GHD straighteners on Sunday because the price offered by The Hut was £25 cheaper than anywhere else online. I was wary about using The Hut because I had read so may negative reviews. I paid via Paypal so that I could claim if any problems occured. However I need not have worried. On Monday I received email notification that my order had been dispatched. This is how I felt on my first order. I was quite happy. Then my second order, listed as in stock, was 'awaiting stock pick' for over 4 weeks, I had to wait over another month for my refund. My Third order, a totally different item was also listed as in stock, but was also 'awaiting stock pick' over 4 weeks and I had to wait over another month for my refund. I wish I had read the reviews before i used this company. I also tried a couple of orders from Zavvi (which I later found out is the same company) and exactly the same thing happened. TheHut and Zavvi are truly shocking and it won't be long before they are out of business. I would advise people to think again when ordering because you will get burned so be warned.

Bought some Umbro trainers using a Groupon deal. When they arrived they had an inspection sticker on the sole of one of the shoes pointing to a fault obviously seen in the factory. The rubber isn't glued properly. It looks like these are seconds passed off as new. Can't get through to customer services so now waiting for a reply to my email. I have read a number of complaints about this company I had experirnced the same problem. I am going to contact BBC rip of BRitain programme and request everyone to do the same, it is about time this company is shown up for the appalling Customer Service it doesn't provide.
