    Bad Points: Late delivery
    No cashback received (of £420)


    General comments: 12 months free line rental for a Samsung phone on T mobile, £35 a month, casback months 6, 9 and 12 sounded great for me and I went for the offer.
    Received my phone 10 days late. Though their T&C stated they would get in touch if there is a problem with the delivery, I never received information. I had to call 4 times and should have cancelled my order there and then.
    Never received one penny of my cashback of £420 - it takes 4 weeks for phones 2 u direct to deal with a claim. Was refused though I had sent my claim in time and with all documents, sent stacks of complaints but so far havent received a reply.

    Little was I to know that the cashback would never materialize even though I sent everything off at the correct times recorded delivery. My contract has now ended and still no contact from Phones 2 U Direct. I am now going to take the matter to small claims court. Not happy at all, I have always gone with cashback offers in the past and always got the money back no problems.

    They did not give my cash back, not even once out of 12 months, rubbish service and than rejected all cashback for no reason that I can see and do not answer the phone any more.

    I wish I had never purchased this phone and contract from Phones 2U Direct. This is definitely the worst thing I have ever done. I wish I had seen the bad reviews prior to taking out this contract in April last year. I have spoken to Vodafone and expressed my concerns about Phones 2U Direct.

    When I was lucky enough to get through to them they denied receiving my claim and when I told them i sent it via special delivery they found another excuse. Networks refuse to take responsibility for these companies. While the networks earn millions we the customers lose out BIG TIME.

    How do they still trade. If they are still supplying phones and collecting/being paid commission from t mobile, vodafone etc, surely this makes these companies as guilty as p2ud.Why don,t these companies stop any commission payable to p2ud and pay the end user like me and you.
    I have sent in cashback claims 1, 2 and shortly the final one and still nish. All sent in to the letter including recorded delivery.

    Very difficult to get through to the on the phone when I have tried. I tried to change my contract which was very difficult. Haven't applied for cashback yet.

    Unlike others, I did (after lot of hassle) get my first two claims paid, but despite lodging the final claim by recorded delivery with all the documents, and about 100 email reminders to Phones 2U Direct, I am not getting anywhere.

    Has anyone taken action in the small claims court. If so, let me know your experience.

    Took out expensive phone contract on basis of getting cash back.
    Sent off claims according to there terms and conditions heard nothing back phone lines always on answer machine and email never gets answered.

    Phones 2u direct refused to give me back my money for my cashback claims after numerous attempts. I advise anyone not to even bother with this people. I am now in the middle of complaining to trading standards, but don't even know if they will be able to help.

    In my opinion they use language which is open to misinterpretation, and generally design their business model so that you'll never get your cashback. If you're happy to sign up for their contract in the knowledge that you won't get any cashback, go ahead.

    Originally Phones 2U sent me the correct phone, but not for my network, so it had to go back, with promises of a refund of postage that I never did receive.
    Cashback, 12 month contract, 12 month cashback, claim at month 6, 9 and 12.
    I have claimed my 6 month by recorded delivery, now my 9th month, by recorded delivery, soon my 12th month to be claimed, yet NO cashback honoured to date.

    Like the other "reviewers", I have failed to get my rental back in the form of the promised cashback from Phones 2U Direct. I just get an automated response from both customer services and their rather inappropriately named "Claims" department.
    We have "lost" £1280 over the year due to them failing to provide the cashback. The claims procedure at Phones 2U Direct is so complicated! I am now taking it up with Trading Standards.

    This is the worst cell phone company I have ever come across. There is NO customer loyalty therefore they will not get any repeat business from me! Cashback offer very unfair. I have taken this up with Trading Standards but no joy. I have since then instructed a solicitor and they are happy to go to courts. I will challenge them to this.     They told us to send the wrong bills, resulting in over £1000 lost.

    Phones 2U Direct customer service is terrible. They rarely picked up the phones, and I spent over £20 on hold.
