    Do not have anything to do with this company - their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered! I spent just under £1000 on a mini computer and various extras. They failed to tell me that the TV card I ordered would not play with Vista Home Basic. The professional they engaged on my behalf and for whom I had the priveledge of paying an extra £80 to set it up had never seen a mini computer before and had less idea than I did how to set it up. Within a couple of months the computer had gone wrong and I had to pay to return it to pcspecialist. They kept it for 10 days and when I enquired about its status they sent it back to me still not working. I sent it back again (this time at their expense), they removed the sticker with the Windows Vista product code, so when it was returned I could not boot it up. When I phoned to ask for the product code, they denied they had done this and refused to give me the code, thus rendering the computer useless unless I bought a new code. Very poor service and I would definitely not recommend them or consider using them in the future.

    Pc Specialist Review

    Ile start from the begining so you know what I had to endure for some of you have gone through simular circumstances.
    I decided that I wanted a High end spec gaming pc I went onto Pc Specialist website and put together the Pc I wanted which included the core I7 cpu
    & GTX 295 1gb GFX card along with 6Gb ram so we are talking end high, once I ordered the pc I got a few emails confirming its progress ok approx: 12 days to complete depending on parts etc

    Brought a custom-built PC and laptop from PCSpecialist.co.uk. The website is good, you can specify how you want your PC to be done (amount of RAM, processor, etc, even operating system), although for some parts, you don't get told what brand it is.

    Delivery is standard, can be busy during busy periods (when I brought my PC, it was near Christmas). Can be a bit shoddy during the sending out period, both PC and laptop were missing or had different parts (PC had wrong graphics card, laptop was m ...

    I purchased a new PC desktop, thought I would treat myself and paid £1500 for components I wanted.
    It did arrive on time, however, my monitor would not plug into it, i needed an adapter, which they sent straight away. This adapter has never fit properly, if I nudge the PC the monitor either totally loses the signal to the PC or everything on the screen has a pink hue.

    The system was fine apart from that, but the customer service sucked.

    Recently bought a just sky of £1000 bespoke system from pc specialist and paid for the 3 fastrack build. The pc arrived on time on the forth day by DHL.

    Would not boot up. Kept freezing at Power On Self Test. System was extremely noisy and looked cheap.

    This is from a company which apparently Quality tests and checks out systems before they leave.

    Customer service is appalling, you are on hold on one of those make the company some money telephone lines all because they could not get it ...

    PC Specialist have excellent communication, very knowledeable staff, good customer relations and a very stable end product machine

    Now I am a bit of a geek when it comes to computers and together with working 12 hour nightshifts it can give me plenty of time to read through several computer magazines to draw up a "short list" of possible companies to provide me with a machine.
    I had heard from friends in the computer business and other reviews that Pc Specialist was pretty good across the board ...

    I bought a system from PC Specialist about a year ago. My machine has never worked properly and currently will not even boot up. I had to return my PC to the company three times, and every time it came back, it was still broken. After the third time my PC came back and I could still not get it to work, I requested they provide me with a new system that actually works.
