Good Points: The Airbus on the cross-Atlantic part of the journey was great, with friendly staff, free drinks served in multiple rounds and a meal that was really OK for being served in the air. Great tax-free pricing in Kangerlussuaq and easy check-in, as the CPH-SFJ flight is domestic.
Bad Points: There are many. My checked-in luggage got lost on the outward flight, which of course may happen. To this date, six months later, it is still gone. No compensation has been paid, in any form, not even an excuse. All I have got is an extremely beefy phone bill and my ear full of silly answers from the Air Greenland and Novia (luggage handler at CPH) staff. I don't know how many times I, our booking agency, my angry friends or relatives have been trying to at least get an acknowledgement out of Air Greenland, but nothing. Of course, Greenlanders are a very "ma ana" kind of people, and sometimes respond to stress and angry people in a, for us, unusual way, but in a situation like this when they loose my €1500 worth of stuff without saying nothing but "we'll call you" without even asking for the number and not even considering actually calling.
General comments: In fact, you don't have too much choice when travelling to Greenland as to which airline to pick. The only piece of advice I can provide is to bring a big portion of patience, see to it that you and your belongings are properly insured, and realize that there is in fact not much you can do when you have to fly with Air Greenland.

The Air Greenland airline can teach the bigger airlines a thing or two about customer service. Free drinks, good food and service. Anyone put off going to Greenland for a holiday by the thought of an unknown carrier should think again.
