Good Points: Good under hard dry weather braking. good stability over white lines and overbanding.

Bad Points: Very little feedback to the rider so grip levels are hard to guage (although never let go).

General comments: The Pirelli Dragons are a good allround tyre, especially stability over white lines and overbanding. However the feedback from the tyre to rider is poor. Good wear rate.

Great tyre, that can be had a at great price.
I did a trackday at Anglesey then two full days around the Nurburgring on a GSXR1000K3 on these tyres without any problem.
Lapping the 'ring in under 9 minutes and fast group on the trackday.
They havent got the kudos of the latest super corsa etc. but who cares. They grip when heated and have decent tread to deal with real road conditions.
The perfect all round tyres at a wallet friendly price.

Bought the Pirelli Dragon Evo for my CBR600RR and more recently Hornet 600 mostly due to their price (you can pick them up for around £100 a pair now) and a friends recommendation. They offered good grip in all weather conditions. Toured Scotland on the Hornet, 1500 miles in 3 days and they performed marvellously and I was able to outdo my 2 mates (Fazer 1000 and ZX636r) for the most part. Got just over 4k out of a rear and 6k from a front. So, if you're after a real bargain you can't go t ...
