    First things first, you need to buy a domain and hosting to be able to put your website online. Buying a domain at Godaddy is highly RECOMMENDABLE, no hassle, cheap ($10) and easy to manage.

    For hosting, DO NOT go with Godaddy, I tried their economic package to host my wordpress website, I upgraded to 2nd level package to avail of higher BW and higher space. I though everything would be alright. I was wrong.

    I always experience SERVER errors upon transferring, speed went up just a tiny bit, but the annoying thing was the server error me and outside users are experiencing. Totally annoying! It probably decreased my unique visits because of this.

    I am planning to transfer to Hostgator for hosting, I think they have superior services.

    I would not recommend Go Daddy. I am still awaiting transfers SIX, yes 6 months after the requests, still they procrastinate.

    It's strange because we hosted two websites with GoDaddy, the first was well managed and reasonably priced. The second, however, was nothing short of shocking. We had a feature implemented on our first site that we also wanted on our second - we were told the only way we could have that feature was to upgrade to the "Unlimited hosting" package, which we duly did. The feature still wasn't there so we contacted support. They advised us "we can't help you with that, try a forum on the Internet" ...

    I've bought all my .com and .net domains from godaddy.com and if you're looking for a no hassle place to buy your domains from at a good price, go to godaddy.com. You can manage all your domains easily through their interface. I've not bought hosting from them, as I'm a firm believer in buying your domain from a different place to where you host it, and for buying domains I'd put godaddy up there at the top of the pile. Cheap domains, good service.

    It's your long distance dime for customer support (no 800 number to call), and you can sit on hold for a very long time waiting for help. If you e-mail for help, you can wait up to a day, and sometimes you don't hear back at all. I've been trying to cancel some of the Go Daddy web hosting services for about 3 months, and I can't get a phone call back (I am paying per month for them)! I tried again this morning, via e-mail - we'll see what happens. It's what prompted me to do a Google search ...

    Overall, a brilliant web host. I was looking for a company which provides cheap domain registrations plus hosting, and GoDaddy fitted the bill perfectly. For $3.99 (US) a month, the basic plan includes 5Gb of storage, 250Gb bandwidth, 5 MySql databases and 250 e-mail accounts, which fits most peoples needs! Registration for .com and .net domains is extremely cheap and when you purchase them with another product they can be reduced to $1.99/ea. I definitely will recommend them to anyone and use t ...
