Good boots,they last along while. Great striking boots and look good, the only problem is that they are not very protective

They are so light when you control the ball its like your foot. They are sore if someone tackles me hard and stud plate looks like it might fall off

The Nike Mercurial Vapor III FG good pair of boots.

I'm a very very keen athlete, I do track running to a high standard and do the 100mtr sprint in 10.8secs pb and I'm pretty steady around the 11 second mark, I play semi pro footy and these Nike Mercurial Vapor III FG football boots really have given me an edge. They're so lightweight it's like running in a track spike. What I love the most apart from the tight wrap around that it gives you is the way they maintain there shape after use. It's almost like wearing a gum shield it tends to adapt to its owner! Although light weight, Nike have made sure the inner sole is comfy and accessible with some tremendous support around the heal. I feel as though due to the narrowness and tight fight it's also very easy to manoeuvre and change direction at speed as well as being to generate high powered strikes!

Well where to start...... this is my first review I've ever done for a pair of boots and to be honest i'm glad i'm doing one. Nike have made a gorgeous boot here. They are stylish, light and overall amazing.

I was vary wary of buying the Nike Vapor III at first as i had the previous model (vapor II orange) and they killed my feet. Blisters where a common thing on my foot and after about 40 minutes playing i would be in serious pain. So when i bought these boots i was during on pure gut feeling that they would be better than the previous model.

I am am so glad i went with my gut feeling, the boots are completely different.... the heel has padding (which the previous ones lacked) they look great and the feel you get with the ball is like no other.

The teijin synthetic skin mould your foot perfectly so the feel you have with the ball is great. I've found that my touch has improved greatly as the surface is smooth and basically like controlling a ball with your bare foot.

The one thing I'm worried about though is whether someone tackles me hard and my boots rip. I'm not saying that they will but with the skin being so thin compared to other boots you just don't know.

I've got the platinum/red vapor II and they are amazing i would recommend them to anybody.

I bought mine off ebay so got better value for money, no matter how great a boot is I'm not going to pay £90-£120.

These boots are a must have if you want extra pace to beat a defender. The boots are like a track running shoe and as they are a snug fit the touch and control is fantastic almost as if you were playing in your socks, i would recommend these to anyone who relies on their pace and close ball control.

These Nike Mercurial Vapor III FG boots fit really well to your heal and aren't shoes that give you blisters like the old Vapors. They are extremely light weight and they also fit to your foot like a sock. They are great if you want speed and are also perfect if you want a good shot.

Good all round boot for the player that wants to beat their marker.
