    These cheeky bast**ds stole 25 euros with the error code 33 story!!!

    customer service simply not existing!!!!!

    It will come the day I will go myself to Cologne and kick some butts in Betamax HQ,

    just avoid voipcheap and any other Betamax product!

    For those who are in my same situation, contact Verbraucherzentrale, let's make a hell of their lives!

    Keep track of your time, as they over charge, and there quality isn't very good. When you want to talk or send an e-mail to VOIPCHEAP, it is impossible, I have checked there whole web sight an found no way to contact them. I would suggest you check this out before putting any money in your account. FUTHER I have found problems with signing on to my account with another computer. I sent in and received my sign-in name and pin#, which were the same as the ones I was using. The biggest problem is n ...

    Any users of Betamax VOIP programs, please take note, that these people will sit on your money, but not allow you to use the service you have paid for by simply blocking it. You will see ' The other party ended the call due to an unknown error ' and describe it as ' General Error Code 33 '. You can bombard them with messages and mails. They will never answer.     I made a ' 12,50 incl. VAT to VOIP Cheap and got my ' 10,00 credit booked in. Then I made just one free call . The next day I could not use the service anymore as I keep getting the following info: "The other party has ended the call due to an unknown error". Even if I call myself I still get the same error info. I had to abandon that service and register for another one hoping to get it right this time. Thank goodness my credit remains for ever!

    First, poor call quality. Using their software to make calls, I nearly always heard occasional clicking sounds (this on a broadband connection). It never prevented me from talking, but it was annoying. Second, they tend to change their rates or promotions often, so you sign up thinking you'll get free SMS to a certain destination (for example) and then a month or two later you being charged 5.5c per SMS.

    VOIP Cheap offers the most cheapest call to Philippines from Canada. Also has unlimited free calls to US and within Canada. Recommended to all Filipinos abroad.

    I already use voice cheap for 18 months. In the beginning I had some echo. Now that problem seems to be solved.

    Just use it and you wil notice !

    My setup includes a Fritz!Box 7050 and a Siemens ISDN/DECT config. The last four months are just great! All outgoing calls go over the internet for free, incoming through my standard ISDN line and numbers. Works a treat! The only drawback is that my outgoing calls show up as 'private', no CLID is sent.

    Don't use them! I would like to inform everybody that VoipCheap.com has taken 50 FreeDays from my account when I bought credit. I had 140 FreeDays on my account and I sent 5 euros to my account and as a result I have all my money transferred and 90 Free Days. I think your site is a good place to publish that. You can ask for all required information from provider my account "natrom".

    Keep the following points in mind when making your decision:

    Calls to destinations are from 1p per minute

    If you have call credit you may get 300 minutes per week of free calls to certain
    destinations or If you have call credit you may get 120 free days of free calls to certain destinations (points 1 & 2 are confused in their online info and lack details; not sure which is valid)

    VoipCheap do not notify you of any changes to their tariffs or charge schemes.

    The Voipcheap VOIP Service is a great low cost way of making phone calls. Telephone providers watch out.

    £10 credit (excluding VAT) gives you unlimited calls to landlines and a local area telephone number.
    The call quality is excellent, and not really much different from land lines.
    The £10 lasts for 120 days.
    £30 a year for all your calls is not bad at all. The £10 covers other calls which are cheaper too (e.g. to mobiles)
