What a disappointment! The Pirandella apartment was very dirty...even dirty spoons in the kitchen. The apartment was advertised with linens. My pillow was so dirty and stinky that I slept without a pillow. We received one very old skimpy towel per person, no hand towels, no kitchen towels. Of course there was no toilet paper, dish soap, etc. The washer leaked water all over the floor and, when we called the management, they implied it was our fault. The refrigerator was dirty. There is no sofa or seating in the apartment....a very careful reading of the description MIGHT lead you to this conclusion. The apartment itself wasn't bad. All it needs is cleaning and a little care from management...plus some paint. We will never rent from Rome City Apartments again.

Back from Rome, where I booked with www.romecityapartments.com the Monk apartment in Trastevere. We were met by the owner at the agreed time and the apartment itself was very nice and clean. The district of Trastevere, where the apartment is located, is full of energy and life, lots of things to see and to visit. More generally this applies to the entire city of Rome. I found also the owner very helpful when, back at the apartment at 2 am, I found out that my girlfriend had forgotten the keys in ...

Terrible, terrible experience. I would never, ever use this company again! Where to start.......
The apartment was not as described on the website. It was definitely not newly renovated (marks on the walls and chunks of plaster missing everywhere for starters - it was barely recognisable as being the same as the one we saw in the photo on the website). It did not contain all the appliances/amenities that were listed on the website (no dishwasher, microwave didn't work properly, cooker top didn't ...

We just came back from Rome where we booked an apartment with romecityapartments.com. I'd like to let everybody know this has been for us (we were 2 family groups) a very positive experience. We have rented the apartments Helios2 and Mirkos which are located in the same building in Via della Stelletta; one (the Mirkos) is on the first floor and another one (the Helios2) on the 2nd floor. The apartments were pretty new and designed/furnished in a modern/stylish way, and this is quite surprising a ...

A very positive experience and we really felt like Romans: the campo d Fiori neighborhood is unique: you can taste the roman nightlife at its best.

The owner was never informed by Rome City Apartments that there were two people staying here, not one. He was unapologetic about the sofa bed. He kept saying it was his mother's apartment but wouldn't pay to have the sofa bed fixed. The oven didn't work. There was a huge hole in the bathroom floor. How could you cook without the oven?? The freezer didn't work either.

    No apologies or no refunds.

We ended up going to a hotel after two nights of being ejected in the middle of the night f ...

I visited Rome last August with my family. I have 2 children of 12 and 10. We followed the suggestion of a friend and booked the "Helios" apartment with romecityapartments.com. I should say that I would have never expected such a high standard apartment: the furniture was tastefully chosen in modern, trendy style. The apartment was new, and had 3 bedrooms (each of my children could have his own bedroom) and 2 bathrooms. The location was superb: a short walk from Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Every ...

The manager of Rome City Apartments was very helpful when we rang for advice, and suggested a lovely apartment in the centre of the city within walking distance of the sights, yet quiet and cosy once inside (their Eternity apartment).

What is worse is that on our return we contacted Romecityapartments. They were sent photos of the apartment and the hotel receipt and they promised to investigate. After 3 months and several follow up e mails we have heard nothing more. Even more disappointing is that the apartment is still being advertised on the website.

We had a bad experience with www.romecityapartments.com. To cut a long story short they shifted us into an inferior apartment, offered to fix things, but they didn't turn up to sort things out as agreed on the telephone, and then they just stonewalled us until we left.

The apartment itself was fine. It just wasn't what we had paid for (we had booked a two bedroom apartment, but only got one bedroom and a bad sofa bed!).
