“Avoid unless you want to risk damage to your car”

I have used Maple Manor meet and greet service previously without any dramas. In fact I found them to be very good. However the test of a company is when things do not go well and how they react/behave. On our last encounter the car was returned with a broken (not cracked - there were pieces of lens missing) rear indicator lens cluster...which incidentally is pretty thick. “Car's condition when returned not as left at Hotel...”

We parked our car at the Sofitel Gatwick in June and handed the keys, pre-arranged- over at Reception. 1 On our return we found the trip meter had been Zeroed and changed from Trip meter 1 to Trip meter 2 – why? I believe someone had been driving it elsewhere in addition to the journey to the off airport parking. Maplemanor say that the driver “may have reset it in error.” How? “Convinient, but Damaged car and refused to acknowledge”

Having just picked up a new Range Rover and driven to Gatwick, I left the car with Maple Manor at the Hampton Hilton Car Park. The service was as expected ,but they did not give any paperwork other than the card to collect the keys. Upon return we were hastily given the keys and sent on our way. I did not check the car but upon reaching home I saw that the front alloy that is gloss black had a scrape along the edge with yellow paint. “Utter rubbish avoid avoid !!”

Booked meet and greet at Stansted . On arrival was greeted on the telephone by a female who was extremely rude and then had to wait 21 minutes for someone to collect car. Arriving back into the UK telephoned as instructed only to be told they were unable to provide meet and greet that night as too busy and we would be collected in a minibus and taken to car. This was the cheapest, yes; in terms of the service I received, but the most expensive parking I've ever paid in my life. For 23 days £86.5 + £365=£451.5 (can you imagine!!!). There was no one to meet and greet, very misleading customer service instructions. No apologies for their bad service and no refund despite paying cancellation fees. “Left a 5 month old waiting in the cold”

Under no circumstances use Maple Manor. We were waiting for 30 minutes in the freezing cold with a 5 month old child. When I called them from the baggage hall I double checked that they would definitely be there they said they would be. Once I returned home I asked for a refund because they were so late and I was told no because my flight had arrived early. Totally agree. I also had very bad experience with this firm. Now in the digital era nothing can be hidden and no one can be made stupid unless they really are. I'll definitely advise NOT to use

When picking up my car, they were on time and the driver was very pilot. However after being on holiday and getting my car dropped off to me then become a problem. Once collecting my bags I phone them up, it wasn't till an hour later that I finally had my car dropped off to me after ring the reception twice requesting where my car was. “Car arrived back dirty inside!”

I have used Maple Manor parking several times before and always had a good service. We used them at Gatwick last week and one of the cars in our party, a Jaguar X Type was the only car to turn up without paper protecting the footwell. It was returned with muddy marks in both the foot well and one the door step of the drivers side. The car had been valeted prior to the trip, so was spotless inside when the car was left with them. Terrible experience with Maple Manor, arrived back in Gatwick on 30 December and was told there would be a 30 minute wait for the car to be delivered which completely negates the purpose of the service in the first place. Called back after 30 mins and was told it would be another 30 minutes. I have never had to review a valet car park until today. My advice is avoid this company because my BMW X5 was driven for 20 miles without my permission while I was on hoilday . I was told over the phone that it would parked off site 2 miles away .I have asked for explanation . Refund and compensation and this has been refused . I object to the long wait 20 - 30 minutes to collect car. It defeats object of a 'Meet and Greet'. Staff do not want to be kept waiting but do not mind if you have to wait for your car. Certainly no quicker than parking in long stay car park. Recommend people call when through immigration before collecting bags then maybe car will arrive on time… Read Full Review

We rang as requested at the M25 to warn them of arrival but we still waited nearly 20 mins for them to turn up to collect. Similarly on our return we waited a similar length of time in the car park for someone to bring us the car. We would have been faster to use the long term car park and cheaper. Maple Manor Parking Gatwick We booked this based on some good reviews on their website. Just goes to show you shouldn't always believe those reviews! We booked well in advance and followed their instructions to the letter ie by calling them when we got on to the M23. We were running about13 minutes later than our estimated time of arrival of 10am. We used Maple for the first time this month and wish we hadn't. Going out we rang from the M23 as directed but still waited around for them to meet us for nearly half an hour, and when they did finally turn up they didn't even have the courtesy to apologise! The return journey was slightly better but we still had to wait around in the freezing cold at carpark 6 for them to turn up with the car. We left our brand new 5 series BMW with Maple Manor last May when we flew out to Barbados, to be brought to us when we arrived back at Gatwick. After sitting in Costa for an hour the driver came back with the car which had been involved in an accident during the short hop from parking to the front the airport. The drop off was fine - only had to wait 5 mins or so for the guy to turn up but when we got back they were over half an hour returning the car so we just had to stand in a dingy multi storey waiting for them. “Rubbish service on meet and greet”

No problem with dropping the car off at our hotel (Holiday Inn Horley) staff took the keys and gave us a receipt. When we rang the number to collect the car as instructed on 'meet and greet' was told to go to car park 6 and car would be waiting. First time we had used Company and having phoned when on M23 was cut off three times then had to edit 25 minutes for driver to turn up , he wasn't concerned about our wait or apologise - not his fault as only got call a few minutes before ! He told me . On return trip phoned as requested from baggage hall after collecting cases and went to pick up point. Waited there for 40 minutes for driver to turn up again no apology .
